Rover, Martin Blank and Alanna Trebond sit at the registration table with information packets

Included in the packets are:
Your child's/ward's/whatever relationship you have with this person's Class Schedule
A Map of the School and Town
A Schedule of Events for Parents Weekend
The rules and regulations of Parents Weekend
A Coupon Book

At the desk is a sign saying:
Please sign in here for Parents Weekend

And depending who is looking at the sign it will magically say:
To ensure everyone's safety, please surrender any Firearms/Weaponry/Magical doodads that will cause harm to our students.

Your property will be returned to you before you leave.

ETA: Parents/Guardians are now required to check in on their own.
((OOC: In other words... If your parents are somewhat "normal" and unarmed they will not see the message. Unless they are packing some kind of weapon, and then they will be see it. Got it?))

'Cause with what I've got in mind, he's sure to get lucky with Aeryn that night. "He'll win the costume contest. Of course. Parkers always win, and if I'm dressing John, he'll definitely take the prize."

John shifts uncomfortably. "Remember, no...showing stuff," John says in deference to the adults.

"I remember," she says with a cat-in-cream smile.

"Yeah, but I can see you forgetting...Parkie." John snickers. "Does Mr. Levert know about that adventure?"

Parker's face turns to a pout. "No. Don't tell him." She folds her arms. "He'd only go on at me about relaxing and taking things less seriously!"

John grins deviously. "So, I do have something on you. You were plotting with my father earlier. Why shouldn't I tell Mr. Levert about Parkie?"

"Dr. LaVert. He's a psychiatrist. He analyzes me enough already!" She bites her lip, then admits, "I may have, possibly, told him to ask you about Johnina."

"Parker!" John keeps his voice low but lets his anger show. "Oh, god. I have to lie to my father now!"

"I just said she ran for Homecoming, and you helped! Get over it, you started it as a joke! Your dad will think it's funny!" She calms down a little. "Plus, I said I liked Aeryn. And he likes me enough to now think better of her. So chill!"

"If my dad finds out about who Johnina actually is, he might disown me." He calms down quickly. "Well, thanks. Thanks for talking so nicely about Aeryn. I appreciate it."

She shrugs. "Crichton, it's not like there's not photographic evidence out there. And it's not even stuff I took." Parker looks embarassed. "Well. I like your girlfriend. Sue me."

John scowls. "Your godfather's pretty cool by the way."

She looks over where Sydney is talking to Jack, and grins. "Yeah, he is. For being incredibly old-fashioned about some things." She sends a glare Sam's way, silently telling him to back off a little from Syd's conversation with John's dad. "I'm just glad he's here this weekend."

Sam looks back at her expressionlessly, then moves back a pace away from Sydney and Jack Crichton.

John steps a little closer to Parker. "The muscles," he says, cocking a thumb at Sam, "what's he for?"

Parker looks grim. "To protect Syd from corporate raiders, mostly." She grimaces. "Some of the people in competition with my father tend to play rough."
