Parent Check-in

Rover, Martin Blank and Alanna Trebond sit at the registration table with information packets

Included in the packets are:
Your child's/ward's/whatever relationship you have with this person's Class Schedule
A Map of the School and Town
A Schedule of Events for Parents Weekend
The rules and regulations of Parents Weekend
A Coupon Book

At the desk is a sign saying:
Please sign in here for Parents Weekend

And depending who is looking at the sign it will magically say:
To ensure everyone's safety, please surrender any Firearms/Weaponry/Magical doodads that will cause harm to our students.

Your property will be returned to you before you leave.

Thank you!

ETA: Parents/Guardians are now required to check in on their own.
((OOC: In other words... If your parents are somewhat "normal" and unarmed they will not see the message. Unless they are packing some kind of weapon, and then they will be see it. Got it?))

Broots grinned. "It spit the first one right one, but kept his sister as a fee."

"Yeah sure, I highly doubt it would take some one people might actually miss, dork.

Broots glanced around himself, as if looking for the person Cam was refering to. "Oh! You're talking about yourself! I wasn't aware your friends had the brain capacity to notice one of their own was missing."

"Where as the only way some one would notice you'd gone anywhere was if they needed some one to beat up!" She snaps back, "you know, no one even noticed you were gone. No one asked and no one has even mentioned your name at school. Face it loser, you're like a non-entity. Even Parker wouldn't talk to you if she couldn't bully you into doing her dirty work."

Re: Refreshments/Mingling

[identity profile] dorky-broots.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
Broots opened and closed his mouth a few times and began to turn a bit red in the face. "At least I have friends here! And Miss Parker sees me as a friend also! And the friends I do have actually have brains unlike the guys back home!"

Re: Refreshments/Mingling

Rolling her eyes Cam smiles icily and then says, "Oh, I'm sorry, of course Miss Parker is your friend. I'll bet you just hack files for Miss Parker and fetch coffee for Miss Parker and generally kiss the ass of Miss Parker because that's part of your super secret best friend code.

And the way she yells at you and belittles your manhood and intelligence? That's code also."

Broots' eyes narrow. "Friends get each other out and in of trouble. Which is something Miss Parker and I both do for each other. And yeah, I help her. And she helps me. And she treats everyone like that. Including her boy friend. And I have my own ways of getting back. What do you know about friendship?"

"I have way more friends than you do. And my friends don't get me almost thrown into jail"

Re: Refreshments/Mingling

[identity profile] dorky-broots.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, and between all of you, you might even come up with half a brain! And my non-existant friends had nothing to do with me getting almost thrown into jail!"

"Very original, 'oh u rn't smrt liek me' No one cares WonderDork. I don;t have to overcompensate for my complete lack of human interaction by overacheiving in academics.

Re: Refreshments/Mingling

[identity profile] dorky-broots.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
Broots laughed, very dryly and not very nicely. "Yeah, but in twenty years? I'm still going to be smart, and you'll be moaning about oh how pretty you were and how great high school was and how awesome you used to be. And I don't take two hours each morning to fix my hair!"

Re: Refreshments/Mingling

[identity profile] thebrootsfamily.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 05:30 am (UTC)(link)
"I do NOT take that long!" she shrieks, "and in twenty years I'll have happy childhood memories and you'll have shrink bills up the wazoo!"

Re: Refreshments/Mingling

[identity profile] dorky-broots.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, who uses up all the water in the shower then?" Broots snaps back at her. "Happy childhood memories are all you're going to have!"

Re: Refreshments/Mingling

[identity profile] thebrootsfamily.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm not even going to touch on the subject of what you're doing in the shower for 2 hours at a time. Bot that it surprises me seeing as the only female companionship you'll ever have is the kind you pay for!"

Re: Refreshments/Mingling

[identity profile] dorky-broots.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 05:52 am (UTC)(link)
Broots stared at her open mouthed. "Yeah, well, you'll be the one offering it t other 'loosers' like me!"

"There is so much wrong with that statement, it boggles the mind."

((there is so much wrong with that statement it boggles the mind!))

Re: Refreshments/Mingling

[identity profile] dorky-broots.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
Broots winces because that did not come out sounding even remotely like what he meant it to be. "One thing we agree on." He mutters to himself. "But you started insulting me first!"

((He was trying to call her a slut, he missed, my brain hates grammar. That came out waaay wrong.))

"And you're the one that got with the incest," Cam replies wrinkling her nose in disdain.

((*snicker* I assumed, what with you playing 10 characters at once. I've got 6 and 2 aren't on at the moment and it's killing me))

Re: Refreshments/Mingling

[identity profile] dorky-broots.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 07:04 am (UTC)(link)
Broots was red with anger and embarassment now. "You know what I meant!"

((*brains has long since exploded*))
