Classrooms Around Campus, All Day Saturday

It was Saturday, and that meant Career Day! Unbeknownst to all the students who had taken the career placement test, Fandom had apparently conspired to place them all in workshops that didn't quite fit the answers they gave for their tests. The island was tricky that way. Not to mention that the workshops that the island had planned were somewhat different from the workshops an ordinary school might offer on Career Day. As in quite a lot different.

So the classrooms all around the school were filled with visitors from off-island and island alike, all of whom had been led to believe that they would be teaching eager-minded groups of students, excited to learn about their prospective careers. This assumption was not necessarily accurate.

Sheila had hoped she might be able to get a cocktail before her workshop, but there didn't seem to be an open bar. She was going to mingle nonetheless.

"First time," she rumbled, her voice even deeper than his. She offered him a white-gloved hand. "And who might you be?"

Yeah, Taskmaster was there. Chilling. This island was about ten times less annoying without Hayden around. He appreciated that.

Rude watched everyone else closely. He was familiar with Fandom by now, and couldn't wait to see what kind of careers the administration thought were appropriate for its students.

Reno had swung by for this thing out of curiosity after the radio broadcast, mostly sober and with his ponytail in a braid, tied off with cutesy ribbons.

Long story.

"Now there's a sight for sore eyes, yo!"

If it wasn't his Rude, Reno was going to light the island on fire. He'd had enough alternate timeline shenanigans.

Anakin, as was his habit, was stalking through the room of strangers on the alert for faces his might recognize.

The one he did made him stop so suddenly he almost spilled his coffee.

Jack was there, looking for guys to flirt with and finding the offerings disappointingly slim. And not in the perfect-body-type way.

So he entertained himself with playing with his new watch. It was Cartier, after all. He messed with the knobs, very amused by the entire thing.

"That is a darling watch," she rumbled, in her basso profondo. Between the timbre and the accent, she was nearly a dead ringer for Tony Curtis. "Cartier?"

Brian didn't know about socializing, but he was... standing there. Scoping out the talent.

He wondered what the chances were that this island had a good club. Or failing that, at least a bar. Ugh. Who knew he would ever find himself missing Pittsburgh?
