Classrooms Around Campus, All Day Saturday

It was Saturday, and that meant Career Day! Unbeknownst to all the students who had taken the career placement test, Fandom had apparently conspired to place them all in workshops that didn't quite fit the answers they gave for their tests. The island was tricky that way. Not to mention that the workshops that the island had planned were somewhat different from the workshops an ordinary school might offer on Career Day. As in quite a lot different.

So the classrooms all around the school were filled with visitors from off-island and island alike, all of whom had been led to believe that they would be teaching eager-minded groups of students, excited to learn about their prospective care
ers. This assumption was not necessarily accurate.

"Karen Walker?" Yeah, Jeremy had no idea who that was. However, it wasn't like he could name half the women that frequented his mother and older sister's social circles, so he was pretty adept at faking recognition with an easy smile.

"Of course! How is Karen?"

"She's good!" Jack chirped.

Jack, of course, had no idea that neither of them had any idea what they were talking about. Himself included. He wasn't bright, no.

"Yeah, yeah, she's great. She and Stan just had their anniversary in Cancun. Or maybe it was Cuba."

Also, his geography? Not too great.

There really was a reasonable chance they would not figure out how based on nothing at all this conversation was before it was over.

"Either would be just as sweet," Jeremy replied agreeably. "We were just in Hawaii, and I think I might recommend the resort to Karen – I mean, our Karen, obviously, my sister – for her honeymoon."

You know, the inevitable next time she got married.
