Classrooms Around Campus, All Day Saturday

It was Saturday, and that meant Career Day! Unbeknownst to all the students who had taken the career placement test, Fandom had apparently conspired to place them all in workshops that didn't quite fit the answers they gave for their tests. The island was tricky that way. Not to mention that the workshops that the island had planned were somewhat different from the workshops an ordinary school might offer on Career Day. As in quite a lot different.

So the classrooms all around the school were filled with visitors from off-island and island alike, all of whom had been led to believe that they would be teaching eager-minded groups of students, excited to learn about their prospective careers. This assumption was not necessarily accurate.

"Yeah, I'm not planning to stick around. No offense," said Taskmaster. The child was kind of creeping him out in a weird way. "Though this place is kind of nice without the idiot hanging around."

"Hiiiii," Jan replied, swinging herself enough to slightly choke Deadpool. As you do.

"There are vampires. It's one week away from another epic event, I swear to god."

"Is it vampires this month?" Taskmaster asked, inching just a liiiittle away from the kid. "I hadn't noticed. I try to stay away from the supernatural set. Too much hassle."

Which just meant Jan needed to whisper something into Deadpool's ear. Deal with it, Tasky.

"It's true, he has a stupid face," he replied, nodding sagely. "They're all up in the X-Men lately. It's bound to come here soon enough. I blame the Mormons."

"I'm going to regret saying this, but... Mormons, Wilson?"

"I'll tell you when you're older," Deadpool assured him.

"Yeah, on second thought, don't tell me," Taskmaster said. "I'm pretty sure I don't want to know. So how's your set-up here?"

"Well, they made me Vice Principal, so..."

"...Seriously?"

"I know, right?" Oh god, this island was crazy flakes.

"That's about as crazy as someone lettin' Hayden run his own merc firm," Taskmaster judged.

Like a judging thing.

"And who would do that!" Deadpool asked. Then glanced back at the kid. "See, that was called sarcasm."

"Your kid's got the death eyes," Taskmaster informed him. "It's creepy."

"She also enjoys finger painting and braiding hair, so..."

"With you." Sceptical Taskmaster was sceptical. "I'm kind of surprised anyone let you near their offspring."
