Drusilla waits in the room for this week's students with detention. Eyeless porcelain dolls in various states of disrepair are scattered throughout the room. On the cracked blackboard is written the names of the students with detention this weekend. A slide projector sits in the room and off to the side a screen has been set up.

Drusilla paces at the front of the classroom, waiting for everyone to arrive.

ETA: OOC: Dru isn't letting anyone out until everyone who isn't skipping out on detention says what they've done wrong. This means, Jayne and Buffy, that you guys should at least reply once. Come on, everyone else is playing along. Your characters are stuck here; let's try and make it fun for the players, at least.

Also ETA: OOC: If Buffy hasn't responded by midnight, Dru lets everyone go. Presume your entire Saturday is completely shot.

OOC: I'm willing to roleplay my way through detention if you are... However, it has to be slowly, as RL leaves me with an infant to deal with all day.

Angela sticks her head in the door. "Miss Drusilla?" she says warily. "I think Rory rescheduled her detention for next week. She had to visit her grandparents this weekend."

Drusilla nods. "Thank you," she says brightly, then takes a piece of chalk and crosses Rory's name out. Then she goes over it again, and again, and again, until the whole name is covered over with a thick, white bar of chalk. Drusilla dusts her hands together and looks satisfied.

"Mr. Jayne Cobb," says Drusilla brightly. "Why don't you stand up, come up to the front of the classroom, and tell everyone what you did wrong to earn detention?"

Jake enters the room, eyeing the dolls warily. He'd be entirely unsurprised if one of the doll parts suddenly came to life, and thus tried to find somewhere to sit that wasn't too close to any of the dolls.

"Tell us what you did to earn detention, Jake," says Drusilla. She smiles cheerfully at him. "Come up to the front of the class and do it."

Logan enters the room. His eyes narrow when he sees Jake, but he forces a small smile on his face and takes a seat near the front of the classroom.

"Logan Echolls," says Drusilla, drawing his name out. "You were a very naughty boy. "Come up to the front and tell us what made you be so bad."

Anders slinks in, looking very much on edge and creeped the frak out by the dolls.

Drusilla smiles at him. "Hello, again," she says. "Anders, be a dear boy and come up to the front of the class. Let us all know why you're here."

As she enters the classroom, Beka's expression settles into respectful neutrality. She takes a seat near the middle of the room and off to the right where she can see the screen, her classmates, and keep a close eye on the very creepy dolls. Just in case.

Angelus found a seat for himself up on the observational level. He didn't comment, but watched the proceedings with a keen interest. It was difficult to say who, however, caught his attention the most.

Some time later Belthazor wandered into the observation deck. He grabbed a bag of popcorn at the door, and, sitting down by Angelus, offered him some.

Lilly walked into detention, glaring at everyone in the room. She sat down at a desk in the middle of the room.

Spider did not send his kids here to be mocked and if he catches mockers (cameras, remember) there'll be more detention next week. There's a curtain over the observation port. Period.))

Drusilla moved the projection screen to the front of the room, then dimmed the lights and started the projector running.

OOC: This is the slideshow everyone sees. Warning: It's crap. On purpose crap. And after this slide show is over, it segues into long, boring travel pictures of Random Normal Family X's road trip through the United States (think lots of pictures of families in front of tacky things like The World's Biggest Ball of Twine). Feel free to roleplay reactions as appropriate, and interact with Dru any way you want.

The lights come on with no warning, very bright, and very harsh.

It's midnight.

"Detention is ended," snaps Drusilla. "Anders. Cally. Beka. Jayne. Detention next week again for the four of you. Chit, chat, chit, chat, and then we insult the teacher."

She waits for the room to clear before stalking out and slamming the doors behind her.
