Drusilla waits in the room for this week's students with detention. Eyeless porcelain dolls in various states of disrepair are scattered throughout the room. On the cracked blackboard is written the names of the students with detention this weekend. A slide projector sits in the room and off to the side a screen has been set up.

Drusilla paces at the front of the classroom, waiting for everyone to arrive.

ETA: OOC: Dru isn't letting anyone out until everyone who isn't skipping out on detention says what they've done wrong. This means, Jayne and Buffy, that you guys should at least reply once. Come on, everyone else is playing along. Your characters are stuck here; let's try and make it fun for the players, at least.

Also ETA: OOC: If Buffy hasn't responded by midnight, Dru lets everyone go. Presume your entire Saturday is completely shot.

OOC: I'm willing to roleplay my way through detention if you are... However, it has to be slowly, as RL leaves me with an infant to deal with all day.

Drusilla smiles knowingly at Anders. "You'd best check more carefully then, hadn't you?" She picks up a doll missing its eyes and one arm and hands it to him.

All the color (what was left of it, anyway) drains out of Anders's face as he stares at the doll.

"Yes ma'am, I'll check every day."

When he realizes she must have picked up on what he thought, he nearly keels over.

::moves over and sits next to Anders::

Playing with dolls now? ::smirk::

*frowns*

Cally, what'd you go and get yourself stuck in here with me for?

*beats self over head with the doll*

If you die, you can come back and haunt me. Or haunt my ghost. Or something. 'cause this is my fault.

Hey, stop that. No hitting yourself, okay? And no one is dying. If things look bad, we'll just make a break for it. ::laugh::

Come on... ::slides over even further so she can put a hand on Anders' back::

This isn't too bad, right? Sure, there's a bit of public humiliation, and the boring slideshow, but... death? ::smirks, raising her eyebrows::

I think we might die for sure if we try to make a break for it.

*muffled, in between whimpers: 's not fair you're stuck in here with me. You didn't do anything.*

Drusilla stands in front of him and her expression is furious. "You needn't take your punishment, you think?" She points at Anders, then points at the back corner of the room, the opposite one from Beka. "Take your little dolly and go stand in the corner."

"Oh, no no no, ma'am, I'll take it, I will!" he blurts out, keeping an eye on Cally to make sure she doesn't get punished too severely for this.

Gingerly, Anders picks up the doll and retreats to the corner.

Drusilla glares at Cally. "You came here to play? Do you want detention again next week? Be quiet, little girl."

::bites her lip::

Sorry ma'am. I didn't think...

Sorry.

"Be quiet!" snaps Drusilla, slamming her hand onto the desk in front of Cally. "Not another word from you ~~or I'll rip out your tongue and eat it~~!"

::jumps, severely terrified::

::smartly, she realizes the best response is to just nod, quietly::

::and now that she realizes that having come to help has, in fact, made things worse for her friends, Cally buries her face in her hands, sniffling quietly::

Drusilla just smiles gloatingly.

::cries a bit, then rubs her eyes, and looks up, scowling a little::

Drusilla turns slowly, the expression on her face utterly and beatifically calm. She walks up to Cally, one slow, even, paced step at a time, and when she reaches Cally, she crouches down so that she can look Cally in the face. "Don't move," she whispers to Cally. "Don't speak, don't fidget, don't even think. Nothing more from you." She rose then, and moved on.

::Ack? Don't Think? How am I supposed to not think? Wait... I'm thinking about not thinking. This isn't going to work... Frak! Oh geeze, maybe I should just make a break for it out the door, I mean, I'm not even really supposed to be here, so I can't get in trouble for it, right? Maybe, just, think about nothing. Nothing at all.

Nothing.

I'm thinking about nothing.

Nothing Nothing Nothing.

...nothing is boring.

Stop it, no! No thinking about anything other than nothing.

Wait, maybe nothing is anything? If so, how can I possibly not think? Maybe I should just fall asleep... I'd probably get in trouble for that too.
