Drusilla waits in the room for this week's students with detention. Eyeless porcelain dolls in various states of disrepair are scattered throughout the room. On the cracked blackboard is written the names of the students with detention this weekend. A slide projector sits in the room and off to the side a screen has been set up.

Drusilla paces at the front of the classroom, waiting for everyone to arrive.

ETA: OOC: Dru isn't letting anyone out until everyone who isn't skipping out on detention says what they've done wrong. This means, Jayne and Buffy, that you guys should at least reply once. Come on, everyone else is playing along. Your characters are stuck here; let's try and make it fun for the players, at least.

Also ETA: OOC: If Buffy hasn't responded by midnight, Dru lets everyone go. Presume your entire Saturday is completely shot.

OOC: I'm willing to roleplay my way through detention if you are... However, it has to be slowly, as RL leaves me with an infant to deal with all day.

OOC: You're going to have to check with Spider or Bristow on anything involving the word "backdating" as they're the game mods. :) But as I'm curious too, I'll drop them both voicemails and ask them to make their rulings here so I know the answer too.

((OOC: And you can delete this if it's cluttering up your post, Drusilla. I'll talk to Bristow and get something official posted, but detention is supposed to take the entire day of Saturday. No student in detention can do anything else until given leave to go. They are stuck for the entire day.))

OOC: By the way, I'm going to give out some detentions to students in detention who are socializing with each other. Any objections?

OOC: Erm, I have one, actually. It's not clear anywhere that we're not allowed to talk. If I had known, Beka wouldn't have, because she's under strict orders to behave or get kicked off of council.

OOC: I think it's a pretty good assumption that socializing and having fun in any way in a punishment session is going to get you in trouble and earn you more punishment. It's fairly common knowledge that detention =/= enjoyable experience.

But that's why I asked Spider for an admin ruling.

OOC: I assumed it was permissible interaction because Dru was smiling at them and also let Logan/Beka/Jake "kiss and make up".

*shrug* I'll take the ruling whatever it is and deal with it.

OOC: That was talking about what they were in detention for, though, which Drusilla considers permissible and was actively encouraging.

Chatting with your friends and socializing without prompting from a teacher, though? Not cool.

However, again, that's why I asked for an admin ruling. They're the ones who should be deciding if it's okay.

OOC: Gone for the night. RL-spouse demanding time. Whatever happens is fine.
