Drusilla waits in the room for this week's students with detention. Eyeless porcelain dolls in various states of disrepair are scattered throughout the room. On the cracked blackboard is written the names of the students with detention this weekend. A slide projector sits in the room and off to the side a screen has been set up.

Drusilla paces at the front of the classroom, waiting for everyone to arrive.

ETA: OOC: Dru isn't letting anyone out until everyone who isn't skipping out on detention says what they've done wrong. This means, Jayne and Buffy, that you guys should at least reply once. Come on, everyone else is playing along. Your characters are stuck here; let's try and make it fun for the players, at least.

Also ETA: OOC: If Buffy hasn't responded by midnight, Dru lets everyone go. Presume your entire Saturday is completely shot.

OOC: I'm willing to roleplay my way through detention if you are... However, it has to be slowly, as RL leaves me with an infant to deal with all day.

Drusilla moved the projection screen to the front of the room, then dimmed the lights and started the projector running.

OOC: This is the slideshow everyone sees. Warning: It's crap. On purpose crap. And after this slide show is over, it segues into long, boring travel pictures of Random Normal Family X's road trip through the United States (think lots of pictures of families in front of tacky things like The World's Biggest Ball of Twine). Feel free to roleplay reactions as appropriate, and interact with Dru any way you want.

The Biggest Ball of Twine gives me 'sabrina the teenage witch' flashbacks :S

After the slideshow, Beka feels vaguely upset but also curious. It's as though there was more to the slideshow than what she'd actually seen -- flashes of something, like glimmers of bubble universes in slipstream. A sense-impression plus a little more. If Drusilla didn't confuse her so much, she might even ask about it, because it's interesting.

Anders feels mildly nauseated by the end of the first part of the slide show, but he doesn't know why.

Twenty minutes into the travel pictures, though, he's halfway to being curled up in the fetal position, cuddling the creepy eyeless doll for comfort.

::pokes Anders in the arm::

Hey, I'm startin' to get jealous of your new girlfriend...

*cracks open one eye and peeks*

"New" girlfriend?

You know exactly what I mean... you just seem real happy with that doll, that's all ::grins::

What? *looks at the doll*

GYAH! *puts it down gingerly, arm's length away*

::pats Anders on the back::

It's okay, it's okay... ::smiles:: If you really want to cuddle up with anything later, I wouldn't really object... ::blushes, and crinkles her nose::

Yeah. I think I'll be taking you up on that.

Right now I have this overwhelming urge to cry like a hungry, angry baby.

Hey, hey... ::moves her hand up and starts rubbing the back of his neck::

We're gonna get through this, okay? Just, keep your mind on other things. That's what I've been doing.

But we can't really talk, or else scary Detention lady is gonna try to eat us or something, okay? So, we'll just be real quiet, got it?

Drusilla stalks over to Jayne, picks up the eyeless doll, and smashes it against the desk so it shatters, porcelain shards flying everywhere. She then picks up the other doll and hurls it directly to the left of the screen, where it shatters against the chalkboard.

"Pay attention!" she snaps.

woah, psycho bitch... come on now.... relax....

*is taken aback, not really realizing what hes saying*
