Vala was grinning as they entered, then locked the door behind them. "Good morning, my minions. Welcome to a life of freedom and debauchery, at least until lunch, when you return to your normal everyday routines, which anywhere other than Fandom would be quite dull."

There's a rack against the wall with a full selection of leather pants, skirts, boots, vests, corsets, jackets, etc.

There are no shirts, however, and the really long ones clothes on the end are probably for Chad.

John was a little surprised by Vala's idea of detention as he emerged dressed in leather pants and a leather vest.

"Really? Leather? This stuff is going to chafe."

Teyla attempted to put on all of the pants that were left, before discovering that none of them fit her, and she had to settle for a skirt. She looked less than pleased when she came out.

Hey, Chad had done the pirate thing before, and it wasn't like his future career(s) weren't going to be leaving him in probably more embarrassing or even more covering things, so...

He was just glad there was a nice pair of longer pants that fit him nicely, wrapped a cloth around his head, and called it good.

Not even space piracy and weird clothes could phase Karal this morning. He was simply in too good a mood.

Though it was weird to go from robes to leather pants. And no shirt. "I finally understand why Gavin doesn't like leather pants," he muttered as he looked down at himself, then added a vest. "I look like an idiot," he added, but cheerfully.

Since you were probably too busy sleeping running from the cops or local authorities to eat breakfast, there is a supply of coffee, tea, baked good, fruit, and cheeses.

Coffee was a good idea. John drank thankfully, hoping the all-leather experience would improve with a stimulant.

This was just an assumption based on the whole pirate thing, but Chad figured he'd load up on the fruit. He didn't know if space pirates were as wont to get scurvy as regular pirates were, but he wasn't going to take any chances.

Teyla took some fruit and tea and tried to figure out how she'd ended up in detention in the first place. She was certain that she hadn't done anything wrong.

Though he did make a face at the tea, because it wasn't up to Karsite standards.

In part of the Danger Shop, a set of corridors has been established. At the end of this maze is a room, with glass walls and several different intricate-looking locks--one mechanical, one electronic, and one crystalline.

Behind the glass walls and the locks, there is a very large treasure chest, filled with gold. There is also a stack of bars of some kind of heavy metal, and a sword on hooks on the wall.

"It's your job to get it, and get out without setting off any alarms. I don't care how, and you can work together or alone."

John gathered some tools he'd found useful during Treasure Hunting into a bag and set off down the corridor. The leather pants were really growing on him, even if the vest still felt a little strange.

He ignored the locks, choosing instead to cut the glass open with great care.

Well, Chad did have a plan, up until the point where without setting off any alarms was mentioned.

...In fact, that sort of dashed all his plans. He sat there looking at the room for a little bit longer, considering some of the tool and the fact that he was a pirate in space, and decided to settle in to work on the mechanical lock, hookin' it up old skool, yo. He didn't have much experience with getting past those with any sort of intricacy, just breaking them to pieces, really...

Karal stared for a few minutes, unable to understand why you'd put something precious behind glass. Glass was fragile, it could be cut, and that made the locks seem slightly silly.

He poked through the available tools until he found the ones for cutting glass, amused that he'd learned about such things in Vala's last class, and went to work.

Teyla made her way through the maze, and took a long look around the last room. The metal bars looked more familiar than anything she'd seen since she arrived in this world, and she wasn't sure if that was because she was the one in the maze, or if it was something the teacher had programmed in. That would be something to find out after she tried to get the locks open.

The Danger Shop has transformed so it looks suspiciously like the woods of Vancouver Vala's home planet, except for the light rain, which she has added just for her own amusement. You and your comrades and your booty need to get off the planet.

Leather pants of this sort, Karal decided, were not al all practical. Nor were they comfortable to wear when they were getting damp from a drizzle.

He'd be happy to get inside a nice warm ship and dump his booty. "Only I have no idea how to begin trying to do such a thing," he said, leaning against a tree while he studied the ship.

Still, he could try, so he tried to be stealthy - not easy to do in damp leather pants - and sneak down to look at it.

Oooh. Hello, ship. Save for the fact that the most complicated machine that Chad had ever driven before had been a car, this shouldn't be too difficult, right? How much different could one be from the other? He took a quick glance around, trying to size up the situation to see how tricksy high-jacking the thing might be, and then remembered that he had crap for stealth, anyway, so he just made a break toward what looked like an open hatch into it, and then hope the place had good design so he wouldn't have to worry about looking too hard for the cockpit.

Karal, curls sproinging like crazy after getting wet in the drizzle, leather pants squeaking slightly, arms full of booty, stumbled slightly when he saw Vala. "I suspect that you might be interested in my booty."
