Library [01/21]

Sam was doing his best to not think about the weekend as he went to open the library. He was working especially hard to not think about being in Dean's room the night before. There were certain things little brothers just didn't need to know about their big brothers.

Sam welcomed the sight of a tall stack of books that needed to be checked in.

After waking up to the realization of what happened over the weekend...

He found it to be the perfect time to investigate the Special collections. So, with barely a wave toward Sam, he headed into there with a small bag of supplies.

Sam gave a little wave to the librarian as well, and peered at him as he went into the Special Collections. He'd go in after him if he heard any screaming.

Sam checked his e-mail, and then checked to make sure everything he'd bought Dean for his birthday was on the way.

Back the library again, this time with a more specific goal. He brought back some of the books he'd taken out the last time with Anemone's help since he'd read through the pertinent sections and taken the notes he'd need. Now, though, he was here for books on chrystology.

...now, how to use that system Anemone had pointed out to find books on chrystology.

Hence, there was a rather curious looking Liir peering around the library.

Sam glanced up from his e-mail and smiled. Someone curious looking was always a welcome sight around here.

"Hey," he said. "Can I help you?"

He didn't want to intrude on whatever the other man was doing, after all.

"Would you happen to know where I could find a book on crystology?"

Sam thought about playing The Sims, but it just didn't seem right today.

Dawn decided to check on Sam after Mythology class, just to make sure he wasn't trapped under a book or a dog or a cat or Dean or something.

Sam wasn't trapped under anything, but he was sure wishing he was under his desk right now.

"I hate this place. Have I mentioned that?"

The library was closed for lunch to everyone except the librarian, the other aides, and Dean.

Dean of course, knew where to find Sammy even if he'd snuck out like a sneaking thing that morning. "You going to run away from me again?" he asked, coming in and taking his usual seat.

For once, Sam actually allowed himself to hope that Peter would show up for his now-regular visit. He was dying to know how his weekend had gone.

Yup, there was Peter. Though he lacked the usual coffee and donuts. It was as though he'd gone directly from class to the library. Because he had. "Hey."

"Hey," Sam said, perking up almost immediately. But he got subdued almost as quickly when he saw how Peter looked. "Are you okay?"

Sam took a final sweep through the library to make sure he had everything cleaned up before he locked up.
