Sam was doing his best to not think about the weekend as he went to open the library. He was working especially hard to not think about being in Dean's room the night before. There were certain things little brothers just didn't need to know about their big brothers.

"It's come up once or twice, yeah. You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay now. Somewhat psychologically scarred, but it'll pass." Sam smirked at Dawn. "Thank you for taking care of me on Saturday, and not letting Scout eat me."

"It would have been tough to explain to your dad," she said, then couldn't help grinning at him. "Purple sacrificial underwear?"

"Those are three words I would be perfectly happy to never hear in the same sentence again," Sam said.

"Sorry," she said, though she clearly wasn't, what with the giggling and all.

"I have to admit, this wasn't as bad as last year, with us not breaking up this time," Sam said. "Still...you can stop giggling at any time, you know."

"I definitely liked the not breaking up part," she agreed, trying really, really hard to stop giggling, "although the tying you to the bed part was definitely lacking this year. Still, I mean, your hair."

"You can never say anything bad about my hair again, because it's definitely better than my doll version's," Sam said. "And I'm not even touching that tying me to the bed comment."

"Why would I say anything about your hair? I like it." Dawn smirked at him. "Shame about that last part, though."

Sam squirmed a little, though not unpleasantly. "Just remember my really bad hair in the future, if you ever stop liking the hair I have now," he said.

"I think you worry too much about your hair. You've got good, floppy boyhair, and you look great no matter what you wear or how you wear it, though maybe I wouldn't recommend bald."

"And you don't think my clothes make me look fat?" Sam teased, before leaning over the counter to give her a kiss.

Dawn was too busy kissing him to answer, but that didn't stop her from reaching out to thwap him on the arm.

Sam snickered a little more as they kissed.

Eventually remembering where they were--or, perhaps better, where they weren't--Dawn pulled away and smirked at him. "Definitely better than last time."

"Definitely," Sam agreed. "Even if I did have stupid hair."

"Really stupid hair."

"I didn't know who you were," Sam admitted. "That sucked."

"Yeah, okay, I didn't love that part, either. But, you remembered, and that's the important part."

"I still think you're crazy though. In a good way," Sam said.

"Why? I mean, er, why this time?"

"Just in general," Sam said. "Because you didn't freak out at me this weekend, and just took everything in stride. It's not a bad thing."

"Oh," she relaxed, "Well, you didn't seem unhappy or like you were in danger, so there wasn't that much to worry about. If it had taken longer than a day or two, I'd have been wigging more."

"I think you not wigging kept me from wigging," Sam said. "That really helped."

"I'll try to remember that for next time," she teased.
