The Fandom High Tour! Saturday afternoon

At 1:00, The Tick was standing outside the school doors, waiting for any family or friends who may show up. Once they had a good group and it didn't seem like anyone else was coming, Tick said, "Well, I think that's everyone! Hello, and welcome to Fandom High! I am The Tick, Dean of Students here, and I will be your Virgil as we descend into the Seven Circles that we call school!"

The Tick thought for a moment. "Not that I'm suggesting that this school is the underworld. I was really just going with the concept of the Guide character in classic literature. Anyway, let's head on in! And if you have any questions, please ask!"

[OOC: After I get all of the OCD up, I'll be heading to work for a few hours. I shall be slow, but available to have Tick answer any questions.

This is a half-play post, half-linkdrop. Teachers who are not specifically linked to in the OCD, if you could post a link to your classroom or office post in the Classrooms OOC thread, that would be appreciated. Parents can break away from the tour to talk to those any teachers. The tour will go slowly enough to not lose people.

Parents, you can ping in wherever you might have something specific to comment on, or wherever you might talk to someone about something. Considering how many threads there are, though, and how many people may be in here, I wouldn't mind if comments that just check into the room thread are left out for the sakes of everyone's browsers.

There is also a general mingling in the dorm lobby thread if anyone wants to end the tour in another big group meeting. :) ]

Azula made it onto the island a day later than expected. It hadn't been too hard to find the school and when she noticed the crowd gathering in one building, she slipped inside.

So this was where her brother had gone into hiding. Ignoring the other people around her, she took in her surroundings. This world was strange, but she had to hand it to Zuko, he had managed to find somewhere that could have been safe. Could have, if whoever ran this sorry excuse for a school hadn’t made the mistake of contacting Firelord Ozai.

Parents weekend, Azula sneered, but as she stepped forward it turned into a pleasant smile. It was time to find out what her worthless brother had been up to.

Zuko wasn’t expecting anyone for Parents Weekend, he was starting to realise that big events around Fandom meant free food. Food was something that he didn’t mind facing a crowd for.

His plan was to get in and out as fast as he could and eat the food somewhere quiet without the chance of anyone interrupting him. His mind was set on the food table, when out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a familiar figure dressed in traditional Fire Nation clothing standing amongst the crowd.

Eyes widening, Zuko stood frozen to the ground. How did she find him?

It was almost as if she could feel her brother’s eyes upon her. Azula turned around, the pleasant smile turning feral for the briefest of seconds as she looked Zuko up and down. He seemed to have adapted to this world, only his scar making him stand out from the people around him.

As she slowly noticed the first look of surprise being replaced by anger, she knew this was the perfect time.

“Zuzu!” she cried out, loudly, and ran forward with open arms, hugging her brother as if she had well and truly missed him. “Oh Zuzu, it is so good to see you!”

Zuko’s surprise was well and truly gone now and he forcefully grabbed hold of Azula’s arms, forcing her back.

“What are you doing here?” he demanded, already knowing the answer. “Where’s Uncle?” As far as he knew, Uncle Iroh was the only person who knew he was at Fandom.

Marie had been passing through the lobby and caught the end of Zuko's argument. After watching him get hauled off, she walked over to the girl he'd been arguing with.

"Did I hear you say you're Zuko's sister?" she asked.

When Azula turned to face Marie, her pleasant smile was back in place and she gave Marie a shallow, polite bow. "I am. Are you a friend of him? I am Azula," she said in her best Ty Lee impression.

Blair was hanging out in the lobby, content to get some people watching time under his belt.

"Blair!" Grams said pleasantly as she saw him. "How are you doing?"

Missouri glanced at Blair for a few moments, making sure he was who she thought he was, before she approached him. "Hello there," she said by way of greeting. "Are you Blair?"

Blair looked down at his shirt for a moment, trying to figure out if he was wearing a nametag. "Uh, yeah. I am, actually. Hi?"

"Blair!" Evie waved to him as she walked over, towing a man about five or six years older than her, with the same eyes, behind her. "Blair, Blair! You must meet my brother. Jonathan, this is my Fandom High School Official Big Brother, Blair Sandburg. Blair, this is my brother, Jonathan." She beamed at both of them, looking thrilled.

"Evie!" Blair bounced up to greet them both, giving Evie a hug and sticking out a hand for Jonathan. "Hey, man, it's great to meet you!"

Bel returned from town and wandered through the throng in the lobby. He caught sight of Phoebe's grandmother and ducked behind a large plant with an "oh shit!" look on his face.

From his vantage point, however, he saw the confrontation Zuko had with some strange chick, and the subsequent conversation she had with Marie.

Shawn is loitering, with punch. He's seen the school before obviously, so he's left Nikki wandering somewhere further back in the tour looking at things. She's sure to come and find him later.

"Summer, hey," Shawn greeted her and made his way over to her. He beamed broadly, definitely a girl he wants to see. "Parent visitation going well for you?"
