The Fandom High Tour! Saturday afternoon

At 1:00, The Tick was standing outside the school doors, waiting for any family or friends who may show up. Once they had a good group and it didn't seem like anyone else was coming, Tick said, "Well, I think that's everyone! Hello, and welcome to Fandom High! I am The Tick, Dean of Students here, and I will be your Virgil as we descend into the Seven Circles that we call school!"

The Tick thought for a moment. "Not that I'm suggesting that this school is the underworld. I was really just going with the concept of the Guide character in classic literature. Anyway, let's head on in! And if you have any questions, please ask!"

[OOC: After I get all of the OCD up, I'll be heading to work for a few hours. I shall be slow, but available to have Tick answer any questions.

This is a half-play post, half-linkdrop. Teachers who are not specifically linked to in the OCD, if you could post a link to your classroom or office post in the Classrooms OOC thread, that would be appreciated. Parents can break away from the tour to talk to those any teachers. The tour will go slowly enough to not lose people.

Parents, you can ping in wherever you might have something specific to comment on, or wherever you might talk to someone about something. Considering how many threads there are, though, and how many people may be in here, I wouldn't mind if comments that just check into the room thread are left out for the sakes of everyone's browsers.

There is also a general mingling in the dorm lobby thread if anyone wants to end the tour in another big group meeting. :) ]

"Did... did you see what he tried to do?" Azula made herself stammer.

Azula looked unsure before continuing. "Has he ever talked to you about his family?"

"No, I don't think he has," Marie said, looking thoughtful.

"I'm not surprised," Azula said with a sigh. "A few years ago, Zuko and our father had a fight. Zuko left the Fire Nation, abandoning his throne and his people. Now father wants him to come back. That's why I'm here, but you saw his response to that."

Marie frowned. Zuko certainly never struck her as the type to run away from responsibility.

"Why wouldn't he want to go home?" she asked.

"You've met my brother," Azula sighed again. "It's mostly out of principle by now. He is too stubborn to admit that he made a mistake."

Azula smiled brightly at Marie. "I do believe there is something you could do, if you two really are friends," she glanced around the room. "Perhaps we should discuss it somewhere more private?"

"Sure," Marie agreed. "Zuko's helped me so much. I'd love to return the favor."

"Maybe we can go for a walk?" she motioned towards the door. "I noticed there are some pretty woods on the island."

"Okay," Marie said, heading for the exit. "So are you older or younger than Zuko?"

"Younger," Azula replied, following a step behind Marie. "It is hard watching someone who you have grown to look up to make such big mistakes."
