The Fandom High Tour! Saturday afternoon

At 1:00, The Tick was standing outside the school doors, waiting for any family or friends who may show up. Once they had a good group and it didn't seem like anyone else was coming, Tick said, "Well, I think that's everyone! Hello, and welcome to Fandom High! I am The Tick, Dean of Students here, and I will be your Virgil as we descend into the Seven Circles that we call school!"

The Tick thought for a moment. "Not that I'm suggesting that this school is the underworld. I was really just going with the concept of the Guide character in classic literature. Anyway, let's head on in! And if you have any questions, please ask!"

[OOC: After I get all of the OCD up, I'll be heading to work for a few hours. I shall be slow, but available to have Tick answer any questions.

This is a half-play post, half-linkdrop. Teachers who are not specifically linked to in the OCD, if you could post a link to your classroom or office post in the Classrooms OOC thread, that would be appreciated. Parents can break away from the tour to talk to those any teachers. The tour will go slowly enough to not lose people.

Parents, you can ping in wherever you might have something specific to comment on, or wherever you might talk to someone about something. Considering how many threads there are, though, and how many people may be in here, I wouldn't mind if comments that just check into the room thread are left out for the sakes of everyone's browsers.

There is also a general mingling in the dorm lobby thread if anyone wants to end the tour in another big group meeting. :) ]

"I'm well, thank you," Grams said. "I take it Phoebe told you of that unfortunate incident when she was last home? Have you been taking good care of her?"

"Taking good care of her?" Blair gulped a little worriedly and nodded. "Uh...sure?"

"You don't sound so certain," Grams noted. "Are you and Phoebe having troubles?"

She was, of course, fully prepared to smite Blair if he'd hurt Phoebe at all.

Blair could either tell the truth or play along. Since he knew that smiting was a possibility, he decided playing along was the smarter option.

"Oh no, we're fine. Phoebe's pretty self reliant so she doesn't need me to take care of her. But I take care of her when she lets me. Yup. Taking care of Phoebe. Whenever I'm not taking care of her...I'm thinking about her. Or kissing her. It's a toss-up, really."

"Phoebe's oldest sister would very much like to meet you," Grams said. "Would you like to join us for breakfast tomorrow?"

Inwardly, Blair facepalmed. Maybe he had gone a little overboard there.

"Sure, sure. I'd love to join you for breakfast. I'm very excited to meet Prue."

Bel was going to owe him big time. He was going to sing every peaceful song he could think of...while wearing tie-dye.

"Excellent," Grams said. "I'll have Phoebe let you know when and where."

"Great and she'll tell me later." Blair flailed a little, hoping it looked like a peace sign or something. "Cause we hang out. Talking and kissing and doing boyfriend and girlfriend things. That's what we do alright. Because that's what we are. Me and Phoebe. Boyfriend and girlfriend."

Grams arched an eyebrow. "You can spare me the details, Blair. I know what young men and women do, and you had best be being careful. Neither of you is old enough to become a parent."

Blair gulped and nodded. Why on earth was everything about sex today?

"No babies. I feel very strongly about that. Very. Seriously. A lot of strongness."

"And I have no urge to become a great-grandmother anytime soon," Grams said. "I'm glad to hear you're being responsible now rather than having it forced on you after the fact."

Grams glanced at her watch. "I'm supposed to be meeting Phoebe and Prue soon, so I had best be going. I'll see you tomorrow at breakfast."
