Yomiko would totally believe him about that, if she weren't half-asleep herself. She mumbled something that might have been a greeting to the not-asleep Bridge as she shuffled into her office.
Willow came into the library looking not as upbeat as she usually did. She found a book on programming and curled up in a chair to read it. Mostly she was staring at the pages though.
If this sounds like it should be the punchline of a joke, that's because it probably is. Because it's Conner, willingly walking into a library under his own power.
But fear not for the fabric of the space-time continuum. He's not actually here to do anything related to books. Not dirty. Honest.
"Dude," he says, walking up to Bridge, "I have the awesomest idea ever."
Bridge has a stack of recently-returned books that he's putting back on the shelves now. Every so often he gets sidetracked and starts flipping through the books he's supposed to be reshelving. Dork.
Naomi came into the library after lunch looking for more books to read. She needed something to keep her distracted until she talked to her father on Friday and to make sure that it was definite her mother was returning from Bajor that weekend and she found reading was always good for that.
