Bridge shuffles into the library, clinging to his cup of coffee like a lifeline.

"Which isn't neccessarily a bad thing." Bridge points out.

"Sometimes they come in handy," Willow said. "Depends on the type."

"Oh, I'm not arguing *that*," Bridge says. "I've had firearms training since I began at the Academy. But I'd say it's a generally a good thing if guns aren't something that are an everyday concern for you."

"True," Willow agreed. "I mean I know there's the whole issue where it's how you use something that makes it good or evil, but seems to me guns of the bullet-producing type are mostly in the hurty range. It's not like apples where either they're yummy if you eat them or really sting if someone throws them at you hard."

"Well, unless you're from Bromak, in which case metal makes a pretty good snack," Bridge says with a nod.

"Wouldn't you worry about the gun accidentally going off when you chew?"

"Bromakian digestive systems are built to handle that kind of thing."

"Wow," Willow said. "I guess the whole universe really does have a circle of life for everything. I wonder what eats styrofoam?"

Bridge frowns thoughtfully. "You know? I don't know. But I could probably look it up and find out. Because I'm sure there's some species out there that does."

"There's bound to be," Willow said. "Oh! And a species that eats those pieces of plastic on the ends of shoelaces."

"I should be writing this down..." Bridge says, reaching for a pen to do just that.

"Need some paper?"
