Bridge has a stack of recently-returned books that he's putting back on the shelves now. Every so often he gets sidetracked and starts flipping through the books he's supposed to be reshelving. Dork.
Yomiko would totally believe him about that, if she weren't half-asleep herself. She mumbled something that might have been a greeting to the not-asleep Bridge as she shuffled into her office.
Naomi came into the library after lunch looking for more books to read. She needed something to keep her distracted until she talked to her father on Friday and to make sure that it was definite her mother was returning from Bajor that weekend and she found reading was always good for that.
Willow came into the library looking not as upbeat as she usually did. She found a book on programming and curled up in a chair to read it. Mostly she was staring at the pages though.
There was a high likelihood that even though Willow heard him, she wasn't listening. She rubbed at an imaginary spot on her skirt. "I'll ask if I can leave Fencing Club and join another one. Maybe Coffee or something."
"Because I'm not a cool weapony type and I just get in the way," Willow said. Which goes to show she'd been listening to an entirely different conversation for longer than Peter's apology.
