Detention, April 8th, 9:00 AM

The Danger Shop was set up like a very large childcare center today with The Tick standing in the middle of the room. "Hello, students!" he said when the students entered the shop. "Come over here and sit in a circle!"

He passed around the sign-in sheet, with the following names on it:

Angel
Callisto
Samantha Carter
John Crichton
Alphonse Elric

"Today, you'll be learning about responsibility in one of the most trying ways there is. Today, you'll be watching children! The kids themselves are just Danger Shop holograms, so they can't actually be hurt or anything, but you should still treat them as you would a real child. You're responsible for their fake well-being and you shouldn't expect me to bail you out if you have trouble. Please remember, they outnumber you. The simulation will end at 5:00 PM FHT. Okay, bring on the kids!"

Another list appeared. This list was of the children who would be here today.

[OOC: In the shop is pretty much everything you might need in a typical childcare facility. Toys, books, bits of electronic that could be fashioned into a laser gun laying around in some drawers... The usual. You can leave as early as 5:00 EST, but feel free to play past that if you're having fun.

The activities listed are guidelines the students should work toward. The children... well, they'll do what they'll do. Hopefully it'll all go together smoothly and we won't have someone fingerpainting during naptime. Right. Becuase what we want is for this to be easy. Sure.

That all said, this will be very hands off for me. Jump in, play, and try not to kill each other.

Introduce yourselves to the kids! Play with them a little! There's a big box of toys just waiting to be used! This'll be EASY!

And that faint aura of dread? Not quite so faint anymore.

She glared.

Callisto looked down at Mindy.

"Hello I love you!" chimed the little girl holding her arms out.

Stewie glared at everyone in the room, his arms crossed over his chest. "I refuse to give in to these new overlords." he says to himself. He walks over to the toy chest and starts going through it. He takes out a few choice items.

"Ah yes. These will be perfect. Soon it will be I babysitting the overlords!" he says evilly. "But I'm afraid that nap time will be permanent. Hahahaha!"

Sam walked over and crouched down. "What're you making?"

Stewie stopped his evil laughter to glare at Sam. "Well, since you asked I shall tell you. I'm making a ray gun that will disintegrate you and the rest of the pubescent overlords." he said in all seriousness.

"You have a curious mind. Such curiosity can be a danger to my plans." he said, only half talking to Sam. "When my ray gun in complete you shall be the first to burn."

Alphonse has only had very little experience with kids, but he didn't have any reason to dislike them, either. He just wasn't too sure how to keep them entertained.

Alphonse looked back at her... and the giant hamster. Not wierd at all. Really.

"Um, hello," he greeted awkwardly. "Who's your friend there?"

A little dark haired girl sits in front of the closet, wailing.

"Hello," Sam said, shooting another look over her shoulder at the little raygun making kid. "What's wrong, sweetie?"

Vendetta looks at her giant hamster.

The giant hamster looks back.

"Who are you talking to?" she sneers.

Angel went over to the toybox to see what they had. It was possible he looked more excited about using the toys than any of the kids themselves could hope to.

After being pointed in this direction, a little birdie with a sharp-looking beak comes over to say hi to Angel. And see if he has anything to eat.

Yay, he does!

The birdie attemps to chew Angel's shoes.

Angel looked down. He tried to step back out of chewing range. "This somebody's pet?"

Billy bounced over to the toychest and clapped his hands in glee. "Goody! I hope this is like Grim's chest!"

He then began to pull more and more toys out of the chest. "It is like Grim's chest!" In moments there was a precariously teetering pile of toys over his head.

That probably is a dangerous thing.

Mindy giggles at the funny noise Stewie's head makes when hit with a block.

"Silly Mellon head!" she says again, clapping this time.
