BWI Airport Portalocity Lounge- Saturday morning
It was't so much that Alexis wanted to go back to school, it was just that her options to bounce around a bit had dried up for the moment, and she should probably at least check this place out? She hadn't gotten to see much of it aside from the volcano and all, and very little of the area outside, so why not hang out for a while?
She'd amassed a lot of bags around her: on the floor, the seats next to her. A throne of luggage, of sorts. She was already a little bored waiting, wondering who else would show up, and how much glitter had gone into the giant "FANDOM HIGH" sign that was hanging.
...and how that glitter had already gotten on her designer luggage, which she was now trying to pick off with an, "Ew."
[OCD up. Go! Go! Go!]

Wait for the shuttle
Re: Wait for the shuttle
Rolling her one suitcase (which was clean and plain, not new but in good condition) into the waiting area for the shuttle, Elli swallowed hard against the surge of butterflies in her stomach.
Finding a seat that didn't look like it was taken, she fished out a ginger candy to suck on in the hopes it would calm her stomach, as she took her first look around at the people who would be her classmates.
I hope they like me, she thought, hands tight on her suitcase's handle. I hope this wasn't a mistake.
Because she'd read the pamphlets about this school. It was supposed to be different with students from all sorts of places and circumstances. Everyone was likely to be more worldly than she was.
After all, she was just a very small town country girl…
Re: Wait for the shuttle
Yes, there was a sign, but it was also a little too obvious of a sign, you know?

Still, the longer he walked, the better he felt. This had to be be a secret entrance into the DFZ proper. Probably going under the airport and tarmac and into the city? Never mind he didn't remember ever actually going down. He'd put his trust in his brother Bob and he'd come out better for it and--there! Bright light! He'd finally reached the end!
Julius trotted out, certain he was going to come out in the middle of the most magical city on Earth to find himself...still in the airport?
What the hell?
"Okay, but where the hell am I?"

"Did... did you not mean to be here?" Maybe he'd gotten lost...

Re: Wait for the shuttle
But when she stepped out of the station, she found herself not on the streets of Lindblum at all but, instead...in another station? And those certainly didn't look anything like cable cars! Or mist ships, for that matter! How curious indeed! And even though she was getting quite a few strange looks, she found an attendant to help point the way to a section of the station where a large, incredibly sparkly banner matched the words on the ticket in her paw.
She looked at the ticket, back to the banner, and then back to the ticket.
"Well," she murmured, mostly to herself, her tail twitching slightly behind her, "I suppose this is the place."
And then she looked up, past her long snout, the one green eye that wasn't hidden by the careless shag of her white hair taking in the little lobby and wondering what this might be all about, with a very particular thrill of excitement racing through her.
After all, she'd searched the continents high and low, but perhaps this odd occurrence might be the thing to finally lead her to her lost Sir Fratley!
[[ wiiiith an SP warning because work, but I was going to be twitchy until I pinged her in officially! ]]

She swallowed, reminded herself that the brochures had said people would be from all over and this was likely a costume of some sort (though it didn't look like a costume...) and there was no need to keep staring like a bumpkin.
"Are you here for Fandom High?" she said, a touch diffidently.

...But then, it wasn't like he got out much.
"Are you also going to this...Fandom High?" he asked.
Was he the only person who'd never even heard of this place?

"Good of you to notice," she said, and patted one bag on the seat. "This one's actually named after me."
Not to brag or anything.

How had he gone from training with his clutch to a boarding school full on people with vintage designer luggage? Louis Vuitton were antiques!

She hesitated a little, looking at the girl and her... valet? Clearly out-classed, Elli simply ducked her head a little, choosing to mind her own business.

She was trying to calm her nerves about going to boarding school but she was only somewhat succeeding.
It was only boarding school on Earth, she kept trying to tell herself, her parents wouldn’t have sent her here if they didn’t think it was right for her.
“Hey,” she said, trying not to sound as awkward as she felt, as she approached the group.
Re: Wait for the shuttle
That... that was an unfortunate facial... situation. But, well, there were odder things to stare at (hello, Freya) so Elli simply smiled instead.
"Hello," she said softly. "Are you here for Fandom High?"

(And yes, it was definitely pulsing to the beat because everything hated Anakin.)
"GET ON THE BUS."
Hello to you too, guy in a brown robe with a bad attitude.
Re: Trip to Fandom
She... she was pretty sure normal buses didn't look like that.

metafamiliar to Freya, which was somewhat comforting, as so much about this was so, so strange. The lights, however, were something else. Not even the most flamboyant and obnoxious theater ship would go that far!
But what was one more strange thing? Being sure to remember to duck her head to not hit her hat, Freya handed over a small slip of paper to the shuttle driver as she stepped up.
"Here's my ticket."
Yes, Anakin. She had a ticket, for some reason.
