BWI Airport Portalocity Lounge- Saturday morning
It was't so much that Alexis wanted to go back to school, it was just that her options to bounce around a bit had dried up for the moment, and she should probably at least check this place out? She hadn't gotten to see much of it aside from the volcano and all, and very little of the area outside, so why not hang out for a while?
She'd amassed a lot of bags around her: on the floor, the seats next to her. A throne of luggage, of sorts. She was already a little bored waiting, wondering who else would show up, and how much glitter had gone into the giant "FANDOM HIGH" sign that was hanging.
...and how that glitter had already gotten on her designer luggage, which she was now trying to pick off with an, "Ew."
[OCD up. Go! Go! Go!]

Re: Wait for the shuttle
But when she stepped out of the station, she found herself not on the streets of Lindblum at all but, instead...in another station? And those certainly didn't look anything like cable cars! Or mist ships, for that matter! How curious indeed! And even though she was getting quite a few strange looks, she found an attendant to help point the way to a section of the station where a large, incredibly sparkly banner matched the words on the ticket in her paw.
She looked at the ticket, back to the banner, and then back to the ticket.
"Well," she murmured, mostly to herself, her tail twitching slightly behind her, "I suppose this is the place."
And then she looked up, past her long snout, the one green eye that wasn't hidden by the careless shag of her white hair taking in the little lobby and wondering what this might be all about, with a very particular thrill of excitement racing through her.
After all, she'd searched the continents high and low, but perhaps this odd occurrence might be the thing to finally lead her to her lost Sir Fratley!
[[ wiiiith an SP warning because work, but I was going to be twitchy until I pinged her in officially! ]]
Re: Wait for the shuttle
And blinked.
Huh.
Re: Wait for the shuttle
And at all the luggage.
"You seem to have quite the journey ahead of you," she observed.
To or from Treno, perhaps? Although she dressed oddly for a Treno noble.
Although Freya also had the distinct feeling that perhaps shecwas not in Gaia anymore...

Re: Wait for the shuttle
"And you've clearly used that foresight to ensure that you're well prepared," she said, almost wondering what a person could even put in all that luggage.
Re: Wait for the shuttle
And then buy more.
"Are you going to the school?"
Re: Wait for the shuttle
Like the obstaniously large one on her back, for example.
"But I'm going there," she said, pointing a claw at the banner. She didn't know why, but she was eager.to find out. " So if that's the school, then yes."
Re: Wait for the shuttle
Was that subtle?
Re: Wait for the shuttle
Which seemed a bit obvious, considering that was where Burmecians were from, and she supposed the other girl could have assumed she was Cleyran, but the dragon knight's garb should be a dead give-away, if not for the fact that Cleyrans had isolated themselves nearly a hundred years ago....
"Well," she then amended, "I suppose technically I came from Lindblum, that's where I was directly before this. I was thinking of settling there for a while to try and find more information on where love love, Sir Fratley may be found."
This next part felt like a long jump, even for a dragon, but Freya felt she simply had to ask.
"I don't suppose you've heard anything regarding his whereabouts, have you? Even so much as a whisper of the great dragon knight Sir Fratley?"

She swallowed, reminded herself that the brochures had said people would be from all over and this was likely a costume of some sort (though it didn't look like a costume...) and there was no need to keep staring like a bumpkin.
"Are you here for Fandom High?" she said, a touch diffidently.
Re: Wait for the shuttle
"Apparently so," she said, a bit wryly, holding up the strange ticket that lead her here. "Do you know anything about it?"
Re: Wait for the shuttle
Re: Wait for the shuttle
Could it perhaps be that Sir Fratley had somehow found his way to this Fandom Island and was now teaching others as he had taught her? It didn't quite fit his claim that he was leaving to improve his own skills, but he did value being able to spread his deep knowledge to others....

Re: Wait for the shuttle
That seemed... incredibly unusual.
"Perhaps there will be a blacksmith on the island?" she suggested.
Since, you know, Mineral Town had about thirty people tops and they had a blacksmith.
Re: Wait for the shuttle
The green eye that wasn't hidden behind her hair observed the other girl thoughtfully.
"I take it your trip to this place is a little more...expected than my own?"

...But then, it wasn't like he got out much.
"Are you also going to this...Fandom High?" he asked.
Was he the only person who'd never even heard of this place?
Re: Wait for the shuttle
"I have a ticket," she said, holding up the printed paper that looked so much like a cable car ticket but was definitely not, "so I suppose I may as well, even if I'm not sure what it even is, exactly. Are you familiar with it?"
She guessed that he wasn't, considering that pause.
Re: Wait for the shuttle
Or any coast, really!
Re: Wait for the shuttle
"I was in Lindblum, just before now," she added, as if to help him out as well, "but this," she gestured toward the lobby, " doesn't look like any part of Lindblum I've ever been to."
Re: Wait for the shuttle
He'd never heard of Lindblum before, but Alexis hadn't heard of the DFZ, so maybe everything was just upside down and topsy turvy today.
Re: Wait for the shuttle
" her voice began to gain a rush of excitement, though she kept it reined in, reserved, despite her eagerly pounding heart, " but there are legends that speak of others! Could this possibly be one? But how did I get here? How is that possible?"
Re: Wait for the shuttle
Helpful, Julius.
"I'm Julius, by the way," he said, offering his hand. "Julius, err. Quetz."
Totally made that one sound natural. Good job, kid.
Re: Wait for the shuttle
But the seven continents thing disturbed her a little, left her reeling a bit, though she tried not to show it.
"Which is on the Mist Continent," she added, hoping it would ring a bell, because how could anyone not have heard of the Mist Continent!
