The Chef takes one of his chickens (named Gloria) and tosses her into the basketball hoop he has placed in the cafeteria. He obviously scores since he has been doing this since the seventies.

Pip grabs some Cheeckee-a in da beskee-a and some French Frees before sitting down at table. He looks around for Paige and chomps on a french (*cough* Belgian *cough*) Free.

She's a bit broken and tired looking but she's there, she figures if she's learning self-defence she's less likely to kick Sawyer's ass.

Sitting down opposite him she smiles slightly and goes to steal a 'French Free' cos that's what girls do isn't it?

Pip waves. "Hiya. Fun fact. French Frees are actually Belgian," he says as he eats one. "So, you want to learn self-defense, yes? Is this just for general purposes or is there something specific you have in mind?"

She raises an eyebrow at this fact and nods, "good to know, it'll give me a way to confuse the servers in fast food places, not that'll be especially hard."

"General purposes I guess, I mean well I just want to learn how to be able to protect myself against things that are bigger than me, you look pretty strong so I guess you'll be good practise for me. Plus you seem to know what you're talking about."

Pip scratches the perpetual bandage on his nose. "Hmmm. Well, what are you looking for in terms of fighting? Are you looking to survive? Looking to be able to beat your oponent?" He looks dark. "Are you looking for something you can go out looking for a fight with? What I can teach you depends a lot on what you're looking to do."

She doesn't even hessiant in her answer, "I want to beat them yeah, I want whatever might try to attack me to be sorry they did, but no I don't plan on looking for a fight" she pauses for a moment looking suddenly very serious "well not right now anyway." she knew one day she and her sisters would probably have to do that.

"Maybe we could cover that later? Once you've taught me the basics?"

"Hey, Pip. How's it been?"

Pip nods as he lights up a cigarette. "Hiya Victora. Not bad, I have to say. I saw that Bridge guy you talk about the other day."

Victor scrunches up his nose. "Victoria? Okay, then, Pippi.."

He snorted when he realised what he had just said, and looked around for the actual Pippi. Thankfully, she didn't seem to be around. That girl could kick his ass.

All this was to avoid showing the feeling he got when Pip mentioned Bridge's name. It was as if his heart had dropped down into his legs, and it weirded Victor out. Finally, he muttered, "Wha...what about Bridge?"

Pip flinches. "Did I say Victoria? That's weird. Must've been thinking of someone else. No idea who, though." [[OOC: In canon, Pip romantic interest is named Victoria. He's have a flash forward]]

"I saw him," Pip said as he tried his cheeckee-a. "Looks like to be a nice guy. Kind of hyper."

"Yeah, he is," smiling, but oddly not feeling all dreamy. He twisted his mouth to the side as he thought, trying to figure out what had changed.

Pippi takes some Tecu Seled and S'mures and walks up to where ever Pip is sitting the smoking section.

"Good after noon Pip," she said sitting down, "I put up our posters (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/393283.html)... Thanks for the help on them."

Victor blanced when he saw Pippi. "Um...hey! Did...did you just get here?"

"Yeah." Said Pippi taking a bite of her seled completely oblivious to whatever Victor had been doing saying to Pip before he said anything to her.

"I'm sorry... Did you two want to be alone?"

"Not really," he said, releived that she hadn't heard him. Then, a thought came to him. "You're not a gossip, are you?"

Pippi crinkles her nose.

"Like that Miss Prissylissy back home? Blech. No... I'm very good at keeping a secret. Go on. Ask me where I keep my money."

"Hyea Pippi," Pip says. He looks guilty. "Yeah, I saw those, they looked nice. But in my defense, I had some very important bussiness to attend to. Veryimportant."

Pippi nods wisely in a clandestine sort of way.

"Ohhhh. Yes. I figured you might."

She cracks off some of that deep fried crunchy bowl and scoops up the seled. It's obvious she can't wait to see what happens.

Pip grins and winks. "Let's just say you might want to stick around after lunch. It'll be... interesting."

Duo, having just finished about 8 trillion pages of paperwork so he can shove off tomorrow, is starving. He's even willing to eat some of the Swedish Chef's cooking in exchange for sustenance, though he won't tell Hamlet. He notices Pip and waves eagerly.

"Hey man!" He says around a mouthful of French Frees. "What are ya up to?"

Pip waves back. "Duo! Hey! I was just having some delicious French Frees with my friends here. Take a seat!"

Duo grins and plops down. "It's true, the Frees ain't terrible, just don't tell my roommie I was eatin' them, or he'll get all emo and not speak to me." He laughs. "Who are your friends? Don't think I know 'em."

Pip tilts his head to the side. "Why would he go all emo?" he asks. "Oh, this is Victor and Pippi Longstockings. They, like me, are new freshmen."
