Victor laughed. "The sad thing is that they'll probably have that here, too. But wow, you lived in space? For how long?"

"You got that right!" Duo says with a grin. "Sure can't avoid it! Especially in space in my time--yeah I live there, up until about a year ago when I started, uh, workin' for the cause here on Earth, though I was back there most of the time, anyhow."

Duo scratches the back of his head. "Hmm. Well, the colonies are kinda like big cities, just, uh, you know, floatin' in space! I'm originally from a pretty poor colony, but I hear the richer ones're real nice! I like Earth, but all the open space sorta freaks me out!" He grins. "You should go sometime! I'm pretty sure there's plenty of ships and stuff at this school, like a field trip or somethin'. I'd offer to give you a lift this weekend, but, uh, I got this thing to do...weirdly work related, ya know how it goes!"

"No prob," Victor said, just feeling lucky to hear about space. "Do you have any movies or anything from the ship? I bet you get to see a bunch of different stars and planets."

Duo thinks. "Hmm. Ya know, I prolly have some footage somewhere. Some battle stuff maybe." He laughs. "I used to be in the habit of tapin' the other guys fightin' so I could make fun of 'em after! I'll sure be happy to show 'em to ya when I get back, dude!"

"Sure man! Not a problem! Hmm, lessee. It all depends on where the battles happen to start up, ya know? Once my buddy Deathscythe was properly outfitted for space combat, it was zero G all the way, man!" Duo laughs. "Sure is a huge rush, dude!"

Duo's eyes widen. "Dude. That. Is so. cool! Awesome idea, man! I'll totally go for that! As soon as I get back, man, totally!" Duo gestures randomly, then checks his watch. "Oh, crap, dude, I gotta go finish packing! If I'm late my buddy'll kill me! Dude, good talkin' to ya, I'll catch ya later next week, yeah?" Duo takes off, braid flying crazily.
