Pip leans in close. "'Course I can. Your secrets will not fall from these lips. Let's hear it."

[[OOC: Is this a NFB kind of secret? I mean, OOC I think I know exactly what Victor is about to say, and so does everyone else.]]

"Well..I...I don't think I like Bridge anymore. Don't get me wrong, I like him, he's a great guy, but...something's changed, and I don't know what. It's weird."

[ooc: Yeah, totally NFB. I changed the title to reflect that. And does everybody really know what's going on? Yikes! Is this okay here, then? Am I doing anything wrong?]

Pip raises an eyebrow. "Oh really? Is there someone else, then that has stolen your fair heart?"

[[OOC: I'm exagerating. Heavily. What I mean is that OOC people can see that you've kissed Walter and probably put two and two together. IC? No one knows.]]

"I don't know," Victor whispered, his face getting very hot because he in fact did know that there might be someone else. He sighed, and gave a little, nervous smile. "I kissed Walter."

[ooc: Okay, thanks! I'm still kinda suffering from newbie syndrome here. :p]

Pip would have laughed if he weren't trying to be discrete. "On the beach? Or was there another time? And, more importantly, how was it?"

[[OOC: Check Agent Principal's thread. Hijinks abound.]]

"Well..." Victor paused for a moment? Could he really trust Pip. He had said he's be quiet, right? Victor took a deep breath and continued. "On the beach...and the next day in my room. Since I got drunk on the root beer, I couldn't remember kissing him, so we kissed again to make up for it." His face was hot again, but not so much. Plus, he was starting to feel really...good...

"Really?" Pip asks. "That's very interesting. And very good on your part. Excellent work. Have you talked to Walter about this? Or done anything else with him?"

Victor turned a lighter shade a green at that. Anything else? What else could I do with...OH! "No!" Victor whispered. "Why...wha...no...why would we do anything like that? He's my friend! We're just friends! We're...ugh, I don't even know anymore..." he groaned, putting his face in his cheeckee-stained hands.

Pip laughs a little and pats Victor on the shoulder. "It's alright man. I didn't mean that. And there's nothing wrong with having that desire. Perfectly natural. Have you, like, gone on a date with him was what I was asking. But it sounds like you're feeling very confused about your feelings."

He looks thoughtful.

"There's a dance tonight," he says. "I'm planning on going. I'm sure Walter is as well. You could see if he'd be willing to dance. Or maybe you two could go and talk about how you feel. I'm sure his feelings are somewhat mixed as well. He's been having nightmares lately."

"What nightmares?" Victor asked, worried. He didn't know why he should be so worried, but he was.

Pip frowns and knocks the ash off of his cigarette. "I'm not sure I'm at liberty to say," he responds. "After all, I got the definite impression it was one of those 'tell no one' things."

"That's fine, you don't have to tell me. I just...is he okay? Or going to be?"

[ooc: read the thread. you two are dorks. :P]

Pip nods. "I'm sure he's going to be fine, unless for some reason our dreams start turning into reality. And then we'd all be jolly well screwed." He drags on his cigarette.

"More than anything I think he just doesn't want to admit to being afraid of something, even in a nightmare. Don't worry about it."

He's not...afraid of me, is he? he wondered sadly. "Thanks," he said. "And no, we didn't go on a date, yet. Last night we hung out, but I don't know if you could call it a 'date'. I mean, we had dinner, then went out skating in the park, and then went back to our rooms. Just like normal friends do. Just like we do. I mean, just because we made out a couple times doesn't mean anything, does it? Am I supposed to stop, or keep doing it, or what? And then tonight...he asked me to save a dance for him. part of me is like "Hey, cool, I get to dance with walter," while the other part is all like "Oh, wow, I get to dance with Walter. Y'know what I mean?"

Pip blinks at the sudden rush of information at him. "Slow down boy, before I have to hose you down!" He stubs out his cigarette. "Do you want to hear what I honestly think?" he says. "And, before you even answer that, I want you to know that A, what you're feeling is alright. Don't be ashamed of it. And B, whatever you decide, I'm still your friend, and so is Pippi and so is Walter. We like you, your mutant-ness and sexuality be damned, got it?"

Victor smiled and blushed, not neccissarily in that order. "Okay. So, what do you think, then?"

[ooc: sorry this took so long. it didn't show up in my inbox for some reason. plus, i was at gym.]

Pip ~~goes to read the comments because he completely forgot exactly what they were talking about~~ eats his last ~~French~~ Belgian Free and looks at Victor seriously. "It's one thing if you go out and do something like that sans the making out. It's quite another if you are making out with him. Now, I think what you have to decide for yourself is what you want. Do you want to be "friends with benefits"? Because you don't strike me as that kind of kid. Do you want him to be your boyfriend? Do you want to be just friends? It's something you need to think about, mon ami. Personally, I haven't seen you two together enough to weigh in on what I think the two of you are. What's more important is how you feel. You're the only one who knows the answer to that."

Victor twirled a French Free in his ketchup, thinking about what Pip has said. I really like spending time with Walter. Last night...last night was a lot of fun. I mean, he's sweet, he's fun, and...y'know, he's stopped smoking so much around me, too, he realised, brightening a little. He's always supportive of me, and makes me laugh. Plus...I just love the way I feel when I'm around him. And kissing him was so...perfect!

However, he fell back down to Earth when he remembered something: But he has a boyfriend. He loves someone, and it's not me. But then why did he kiss me? Why does he flirt with me? Could he feel the same way?

Victor sighed again, and finally ate the French Free. "I think I know what I want, Pip, but even if it's what I really want, I can't have it. He's taken."

Pip laughs and baps Victor on the forehead. "Is he married? He's fourteen years old, Victor. It's not a binding commitment. And anyway, it's a long distance relationship now." He grins. "If he really is committed, they obviously have an open enough relationship that allows them to stick their tongues down others throats." He took a sip of iced tea. "Talk to him about it. He obviously doesn't have a problem making out with ya. Maybe there's troubles on the front with his boyfriend?"

"Maybe..." Victor said. "I didn't really think of that. But does that mean he's using me to get back at his boyfriend?"

Pip smirked. "Well, it's been known to happen. Personally, I highly doubt it. THat'd be a cruel thing to do to a person and it'd be very out of character for Walter to do something like that. He's not that kind of guy."

"That's good," Victor replied. He looked at his watch and saw that lunch was almost over. "We gotta get going," he said, gathering all of his trash onto his tray. "But thanks a lot, Pip. You're the greatest."
