Applied Inventiontronics, Period 4 - Week 8

His shoes had moved on their own that morning, and he wasn't so sure anymore if it had been real or just another glitch.

At any rate, Glitch was standing at the front of the class, very obviously shifting his weight from one foot to the other.

"Today, uhm, I hope you brought your designs to class. Or, well, what you have of your designs for your projects because that's what we'll be going over. I mean, I'll be going over with you."

He bit back a repeat of the last four words before he continued.

"So, if you'd all get what you have out, I'll go around--," he said with a shift and a shuffle as one of his feet almost darted out from underneath him, "I'll go around and check your progress."

There was a pause as he looked down at his notes to make sure he was finished. "Oh, and, don't forget that next week we'll be doing repairs. So, if you or someone you know has something broken, then, bring it in--," he ended abruptly with another shake as his other foot made a decent pass at kicking itself against the desk.

Glitch frowned down at his shoes before smiling nervously at the class. Today was going to be a long day.

[ooc: OCD is up! This was also in the right place the whole time I swear.]

As Liir had come to class barefoot (some things can speak, like Animals and even animals but Shoes are just ridiculous), he looked sympathetically at his professor.

Bridge is freaking out a little, yeah. Not because he doesn't have anything ready, but because he *does* and he just couldn't bring it with him because, well, sparkling ball of light.

Sokka wasn't all that surprised by the man's feet, considering that his own were cooing and rubbing all over each other.

Anders? Freaking out, yes. He wasn't sure, but he might have left his notes and design in between the couch cushions back in California.

Aaaaaaaagh.

It wasn't that Jaina didn't have anything ready, it was just that it wasn't ready enough. Thanks, spring break.

Doom's boots were whimpering this morning. They had been taught to be silent, though.

A.J. was too busy being concerned about whether his socks would start talking to him next (which he was looking at a lot, considering his shoes were left in his room because they were complaining and he didn't want to deal with them), but at least he knew he wouldn't need to freak out about the project. Because he actually, finally, honest to goodness had one. He was just nervous because, of course, he didn't think it was very good but it was something and he wouldn't have to just ride of the coattails of helping Andrew with his.

Rikku was going to stall. And tap-dance. And be nervous. And try to make it sound like she had more than she did. Hopefully?

Anathema walked to her desk carefully, seeing as how she was bare foot. Best not to ask.

It really wasn't that cold out, so Rodney was kind of wondering why some of the others had bother trying to wear their crazy shoes. He was doing perfectly fine in his socks. Yes, he was.

After his trip to the O.Z., Liir had had a few more resources at his disposal. As such, he'd taken a gander through them with a mind towards improving his invention design. After reading it, he'd made a few modifications, as well as added a secondary device, but as he hadn't had time to get it checked over by his professor he had two completely different sets of project designs:

One as it was when he'd last checked in with Professor Ambrose and one from after.

He didn't want to lose points should some of his ideas turn out wrong, after all.

Willow had her design for an automatic tea maker that had controls which could be used by someone with beaver paws.

Bridge is still hovering and sparkling over his desk, with no project plans visible anywhere.

Sokka pulled a rather detailed schematic (http://pics.livejournal.com/sarcasm_guy/pic/00002rh7/g2) out of his bag and slapped it on his desk with a "Wha-POW!!! Check THIS out!!!"

The schematic was even annotated. That's how much effort he'd put into it.

Of course, he'd forgotten about the whole "no weapons" thing.

A.J. had just about half a sketchbook filled with design sketches and notes and diagrams and little half-assed explanations and brief comments in margins that would mostly make sense to only him regarding how he intended to go about constructing the nifty little book page-turner device had had planned.

Anathema had the workings for an automatic filing machine which sorted papers or small objects either alphabetically, chronologically, by size, by weight, or by their last letter. She was also barefoot.

For this, Rodney was totally prepared. He had even printed out his notes and schematics. There were quite a few pages and it all looked rather complicated and technical.
