Applied Inventiontronics, Period 4 - Week 8
His shoes had moved on their own that morning, and he wasn't so sure anymore if it had been real or just another glitch.
At any rate, Glitch was standing at the front of the class, very obviously shifting his weight from one foot to the other.
"Today, uhm, I hope you brought your designs to class. Or, well, what you have of your designs for your projects because that's what we'll be going over. I mean, I'll be going over with you."
He bit back a repeat of the last four words before he continued.
"So, if you'd all get what you have out, I'll go around--," he said with a shift and a shuffle as one of his feet almost darted out from underneath him, "I'll go around and check your progress."
There was a pause as he looked down at his notes to make sure he was finished. "Oh, and, don't forget that next week we'll be doing repairs. So, if you or someone you know has something broken, then, bring it in--," he ended abruptly with another shake as his other foot made a decent pass at kicking itself against the desk.
Glitch frowned down at his shoes before smiling nervously at the class. Today was going to be a long day.
[ooc: OCD is up! This was also in the right place the whole time I swear.]

Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"I'm fine. Why?"
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"Anything else, Professor?"
He hoped that he'd made the Professor proud of him, especially after what Ino had said the other day.
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
Glitch looked down at his shoes, which were pointing themselves at each other menacingly.
"If this keeps up, though, I might be barefoot."
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"I did. It didn't seem proper to wear them when they were being so friendly."
...he took care of his shoes as he did with his clothing, personally and with the utmost care. As such, his had been rather placid. Especially since he hadn't even tried to wear them.

Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"They can talk?"
A beat, as synapses misfired and caught up a few steps behind.
"They can talk?"
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"Well, they did today. I've never heard of Shoes, but I suppose it's possible."
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"I really really hope mine can't."
That was just a little too disconcerting a reality for him to deal with at the moment.
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"Would you like one?" he asked brightly, switching the subject. After all, he was at least sure this wasn't the bacon orange. And that meant it was probably a rather good tasting orange.
...he did have taste.
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"Sure."
Glitch wanted to ask about why he was carrying an orange with him but ignored it.
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
He couldn't quite get over what Ino had said.
"I'm still allowed to come to your office tomorrow, yes?" he asked.
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
He looked a little confused at that. Why wouldn't he be?
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"Sorry. I'm still... I worry that I take up so much of your time. I know you've told me before, but you do so much--"
He looked up carefully.
"I really can't thank you enough for bringing us to the O.Z."
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
That slight little wince just then was directed completely at his shoes and not the topic at hand. Really. It was also gone as quick as it came.
"You're welcome. In my office and for the trip."
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"Did I... I didn't get you in trouble or anything, did I? Or stir anything up?"
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
He thought for a moment about it.
"I've just been glitching more often since then, that's all."
It had nothing to do with being told that he was a father-figure and was still trying to convince himself that he wouldn't be horrible at it. Nothing at all.
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"And, you know, if I get into a loop, you can go ahead and snap me out of it. Especially if it's in front of class."
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"Of course," he said, his voice soft and, well, deeply sorry. He knew Professor Ambrose hated being 'glitchy'.
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
A pause.
"I didn't today, did I? During the lecture?"
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"Just once or twice with me. Not during the lecture, though."
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"Ok then. Not during the lecture, that's good."
Glitch nodded again, but that probably wasn't so much a glitch as it was his way of giving himself a little added confirmation about the fact.
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
It was as much comfort as he could give.
Re: Project Review Time (3/3)
"Well, that's good at least."
