His shoes had moved on their own that morning, and he wasn't so sure anymore if it had been real or just another glitch.

At any rate, Glitch was standing at the front of the class, very obviously shifting his weight from one foot to the other.

"Today, uhm, I hope you brought your designs to class. Or, well, what you have of your designs for your projects because that's what we'll be going over. I mean, I'll be going over with you."

He bit back a repeat of the last four words before he continued.

"So, if you'd all get what you have out, I'll go around--," he said with a shift and a shuffle as one of his feet almost darted out from underneath him, "I'll go around and check your progress."

There was a pause as he looked down at his notes to make sure he was finished. "Oh, and, don't forget that next week we'll be doing repairs. So, if you or someone you know has something broken, then, bring it in--," he ended abruptly with another shake as his other foot made a decent pass at kicking itself against the desk.

Glitch frowned down at his shoes before smiling nervously at the class. Today was going to be a long day.

Willow nodded. "For Mr. and Mrs. Beaver. They love tea. I thought they might enjoy something that would make the process easier for them."

He smiled and looked back curiously at the design. "How are you going to power it?"

"This has been a work in progress," Willow admitted. "I thought about sunlight, but what if they wanted tea at night? My next thought has been water power. After all, they are dam specialists."

He thought about it for a second as his shoes tapped themselves. "Sunlight could work, if you attach an energy storage device to it. That is, if you have room. Or, the water power. That might work, with the same kind of energy storage in case something blocks the water flow."

A beat.

"In case something blocks the water flow."

Glitch's shoes tapped again as his synapses righted themselves.

"I had been wondering about energy storage," Willow said. "Though it would need to be something not too strange. I mean I could make it all out of magic but that would definitely woog them."

Glitch tilted his head and thought for a moment.

"Maybe crystals? They'd probably have magical properties, but they should fit well enough."

"You don't feel that'd be too magic-y?" Willow asked. "Or maybe just enough of a magical babystep so as to help accept the idea that not all witches are bent on being obsessed with seasons for centuries on end?"

"Not too magic-y," he said. Glitch wasn't entirely sure 'magic-y' was a word, but he wasn't going to worry about it. "Crystals should be enough of a mix of raw material and magical properties to not put anyone off."

"Oh yay!" Willow said. "I shall look into sun storage through crystals then."

"I've got a few books on crystals in my office, and Liir is using them for his project, too. He might have some suggestions."

Glitch's shoes took that as an opportunity to try kicking each other again.

"I appreciate the input," Willow said. She looked at Glitch's shoes. "My slippers were very slippy this morning. It seems to be going around."

Glitch looked down at them and frowned. "I don't think mine like each other."

"That's so unfortunate," Willow said. "And awkward considering all the time they spend together."

"Maybe that's why they don't," Glitch said after a second of consideration. "I know I didn't get along with some of the people I had to spend time in the court with at all."

Cue shoes trying another kick.

"Stop that!"
