Clutching the tea that she's finding herself increasingly dependent on with the decrease in temperature, Adah limped in to open the library, with enough time to get a decent pile of books back into their places before officially getting things started for the day and settling behind the desk. She even bothered to put the books in the proper places today, if only, merely because she can.

First Period -- 12/12
Overly bored, anyway.
Second Period -- 12/12

So, instead, she's just drawing them in her notebook. And, yes, you're right. That character didn't stab that other character in the end of that play, but you know what? Adah thinks she should have. So now she is. Huzzah!

And, no, she hadn't noticed River yet; multitasking, like poetry, was hard, and her concentration was being poured into her work.

She stopped next to the library desk with an armful of books, waving madly. "Hullo! How are you feeling today? I haven't seen you in quite a bit. And lord, are you as worried about Finals as I am?"

A small thought hit her, and she paused, ruminating on it a moment before pulling out a notebook and finally writing down, "I've received a letter from my mother recently."
She hadn't.
"She says she's been feeling terrible."

"I wouldn't jump to any conclusions, of course," she wrote, with a look in her eyes to convey her reasoning, consoling 'tone.' "It could just be something she ate. I mean, she says she hasn't felt this way since..."
Adah's eyes went wide as she stopped writing and actually managed to get color to drain from her face, her mouth forming a little 'o,' as if pre-empting an unspoken oh my...
