Clutching the tea that she's finding herself increasingly dependent on with the decrease in temperature, Adah limped in to open the library, with enough time to get a decent pile of books back into their places before officially getting things started for the day and settling behind the desk. She even bothered to put the books in the proper places today, if only, merely because she can.

All and all, though she didn't realize it, it was probably a very, very good thing that Adah was probably biologically unable to ever reproduce.

Then River frowned a little. "Last spring our children from alternate realities appeared out of nowhere." It was clear from her expression that this had not been a pleasant experience.

Well, she could probably think of a few things she'd like better, but that could wait until after the robot baby had been thrown and given a proper autopsy.
The last bit also earned an eyebrow quirk; she had, in essence, understood what River said. She, however, was feeling like perhaps she did not.

And then she thought, simply and planitively, of that article she read, of the disease she had, and the very high and detailed percentage that her potential children will cannibalize themselves.
