Library; Wednesday [ 12/12 ]

Clutching the tea that she's finding herself increasingly dependent on with the decrease in temperature, Adah limped in to open the library, with enough time to get a decent pile of books back into their places before officially getting things started for the day and settling behind the desk. She even bothered to put the books in the proper places today, if only, merely because she can.

Adah, who would probably never have anything but disenchanted view regarding her own death, only let out a soft snort of laugh, but her eyes did close lightly as her head tilted toward the brushing back of her hair.

Adah had lovely hair. And skin, and eyes, and lips. River leaned forward to kiss her, less lightly this time. Generally talk of death didn't disturb her at all, but it was quite recently that Adah had been almost gone and she preferred to avoid that line of thought.

Adah opened herself easily, though slowly, to the kiss, stretching her neck as easily as she could too meet River, to catch her lips halfway there. Blindly, her eyes still closed, with a hand drifting up slightly, undecided if it wanted to settle against the side of the desk for support or if it wanted the find its fingers brushing against the hair falling forward from River.

It was strange how libraries recently had come to be associated with things other than books for River, but then again, this was a different kind of knowledge. A very good kind of knowledge, and one worth exploring. River didn't let go, just let the kissing be the dance it should be, lettng the hand she wasn't using to support herself slip around Adah.

Adah's fingers, as thought tentatively testing it out, eventually did find the end of that drooping tendril of hair and she started to twist it, lightly, between them, matching the pace of her kisses.

Adah examining her hair felt good, and made River chuckle against Adah's lips. She pulled Adah tighter towards her own body, letting her own fingers wandering up Adah's back.
