"Welcome, one and all, to the first school assembly of the new semester! In case you haven't met me yet, I am The Tick! Dean of Students here at Fandom High. That means that where student issues are concerned, I am the parking attendant in the self park garage of your education!"

"Today, we have a special in the garage! It's a special that speaks of a different kind of special you might get in a seedier garage. Today's special is called DANK: Drugs Are Not Kool! Spelling is cool, of course, but sometimes you have to make an exception and spell something with a 'k' to work. Anyway, we will have several speakers this afternoon, guiding your car into a parking space of a clean and healthy life! Please welcome our guests!"

[OOC: Each speaker will have their own thread, plus there will be a Q&A thread at the end of the post for them to ping into. Also, since it seems appropriate this time, there will be a thread for after the assembly to speak to the guests a bit more privately. Please wait to ask the speakers questions until the speakers have pinged in.

Smith allowed himself to be hugged. "Miss Loooongstocking," he said. "Staying on the academic straight and narrow, I hope?"

"...yes, Miss Longstocking?" Smith responded.

Nadia ended up staring at her boots, which were propped on the seat in front of her, fingering the necklace El had given her.

Yeah. Drug cartels sucked.

Walter whooped and applauded for former-Principal Smith and wondered if he'd be able to duck out to grab some duct tape and a pie.

"Had any new and interesting pies?"

Zero shuffled in and took a seat at the back, prepared to be bored out of her mind. This was probably because she had no idea what was in store.

"There is no pie as good as the apple," Smith said. "Others are merely a waste."

Pippi hugs him good, possibly lifting him off the ground a little while attaching a sign to his back that says,

I <3 golfcarts as much as pie!

"Oh yes, we didn't get detention before classes this year!"

See? Progress!

"So, does anyone have questions?" Nikki asked. "Except my daughter. She doesn't count."

"MOM!"

Pippi gives him a hug if he lets her.

"That is a small achievement," Smith said. "Do not celebrate it."

"Did you take off your top on stage before or after getting a record deal?"

"If they made a drug out of apple pie, would you oppose it?"

"To late, we already threw a party." Pippi said.

"Yes."

"You continue to be foolhardy, then," Smith said. "I am... neither surprised nor disappointed."

"Can you get me Simon Stiles' autograph!?"

Oh, did he mean requests for his autograph?

"Yes," said Nikki with a twinkle in her eye. "You look familiar."

Pip stood up and cheered for Smith.

Because it was Smith!

Perhaps he should take Smith out for pie.

"How's life outside of Fandom, sir?"

"There was pie. At the party." Pippi pointed out.

"What does the red pill do?"

"Please refine your question," Smith replied.

"I think maybe I saw you around during parent's weekend? Oh, and I'm in Teal Dear."

"Bad things," Smith said.
