Sexual Education [08/24] - Thursday Afternoon

When the students were all in the Danger Shop which they had totally handwavily been told was the location for the day, okay?, Becky smiled.

"Hi. Last workshop, finally. What we're doing here today is putting everything you've learned to good use."

She pressed a button on the remote, and the Danger Shop transformed into a poorly-lit, crowded bar. Onstage, a pretty blonde girl no older than eighteen was dancing and swinging a lasso.

And yes - it was all in black and white, as were the students themselves, save for a few splashes of color here and there.

"Your assignment, boys and girls, is to pick someone up. Find a seat at the bar or a table, and within minutes, someone'll come along. You're to make small talk with them, and then get the person in question to want to have sex with you. Make sure to specify what you're into, and that you use protection. People in Kadie's usually like to know these things. You have until the end of class today to accomplish this goal. People who make it into compromising positions get cookies."

She held up three fingers. "Juuuust a handful of rules before I turn you loose. One - if you get far enough to where the fake person wants to have sex with you, your portion of the Shop will dim immediately, and your person will vanish, like magic or something. No getting me in trouble. Two - order what you want from Shellie, but if you act drunk, you're getting detention. And three - things in Kadie's can get kinda rough. Be nice to the other patrons, and they'll be nice to you. And if they aren't, I'll take care of it. Oh, and if you have a significant other to worry about, don't sweat it, guys."

She glanced at Bridge, frowning. "They're virtual people, and you don't even have to touch most of 'em to let 'em know what you want. It's all about the talking, baby."

She smiled. "Make me proud, kids."

"What can I getcha, sweetheart?" asked a low, flirtatious voice just to his right.

The voice came from a rather petite but curvy waitress who was smirking at him.

Bel took a seat at the bar. After this morning, he was not in the mood for this, but maybe it would be distracting. He kept looking over at Phoebe.

Sam sat down at the bar and got a beer, just to have something solid to hold onto. For the moment, that tactic was working pretty well in keeping him from freaking out completely. He tried to look around, but that just kept bringing his attention inappropriately to the dancing girl, so he settled for staring at his beer bottle and praying for the sweet release of death waiting.

Phoebe takes a seat far away from everyone and everything. She doesn't look particularly like she's trying to pick anyone up. In fact, she looks a bit teary.

Blair took a seat at a table as far away from Bel and Phoebe as was humanly possible and ran through pickup lines for practice. "Are you a library book...because I'd like to check you out!"

Seras? Still not feeling so hot. The flu bug she'd picked up had never really left her, but she was trying to make it to all her classes and do the work.

So, she sat at a bar stool and surveyed the crowd.

Holograms. They were just holograms. No more real than the ones Dr. Reid used.

Demyx had had a bad day so far, but he tried to cheer up a little bit for the final. He took a seat at the bar and ordered a drink, just playing with the straw with his fingers rather than drinking it.

Okay, so, yeah, a few stipulations go with this:

1) Come on as strong or as weak as you'd like to the NPCs. They'll ask the pertinent questions to get you credit.

2) If you have a BF/GF and feel uncomfy even talking to the fake people and flirting, I expect goofiness.

3) If you get far enough along with your NPC that an FTB is needed, it will be administered. Comm post, guys. Otherwise, you're free to close in on things to the point of kissing and being suggestive in a handwavey manner

4) I'm playing all the NPCs, obviously, and I sleep and work sometimes. I'll be in bed by 3AM EDT, and then around again by 2PM EDT. Slowplay, for those who need it, is love.

5) You've been a wonderful, wonderful class, and I sincerely hope you've had as much fun as I have. :)

Blair showing up in class is up in the air at the moment but ZOMG! I loved this class so much! Thank you for coming up with cool classes and playing with the crazyhookernunthing.

Or if you say it out loud, crazyhookernunthang sounds better. It's odd that I've said it enough to know that.
