Sexual Education [08/24] - Thursday Afternoon

When the students were all in the Danger Shop ~~which they had totally handwavily been told was the location for the day, okay?~~, Becky smiled.

"Hi. Last workshop, finally. What we're doing here today is putting everything you've learned to good use."

She pressed a button on the remote, and the Danger Shop transformed into a poorly-lit, crowded bar. Onstage, a pretty blonde girl no older than eighteen was dancing and swinging a lasso.

And yes - it was all in black and white, as were the students themselves, save for a few splashes of color here and there.

"Your assignment, boys and girls, is to pick someone up. Find a seat at the bar or a table, and within minutes, someone'll come along. You're to make small talk with them, and then get the person in question to want to have sex with you. Make sure to specify what you're into, and that you use protection. People in Kadie's usually like to know these things. You have until the end of class today to accomplish this goal. People who make it into compromising positions get cookies."

She held up three fingers. "Juuuust a handful of rules before I turn you loose. One - if you get far enough to where the fake person wants to have sex with you, your portion of the Shop will dim immediately, and your person will vanish, like magic or something. No getting me in trouble. Two - order what you want from Shellie, but if you act drunk, you're getting detention. And three - things in Kadie's can get kinda rough. Be nice to the other patrons, and they'll be nice to you. And if they aren't, I'll take care of it. Oh, and if you have a significant other to worry about, don't sweat it, guys."

She glanced at Bridge, frowning. "They're virtual people, and you don't even have to touch most of 'em to let 'em know what you want. It's all about the talking, baby."

She smiled. "Make me proud, kids."

The girl on the stage gave him a small smile and winked.

Blair smiled back and waved. "Nice...uh...lasso work."

Nancy smiled shyly and hopped off the stage as the music ended.

"Thanks," she said, flicking her hair out of her face. "Are you new here?"

"Yup. I'm Blair." He waved again and pointed to his table. "Would you like to sit down?"

She looked around. "Sure, I'm on break for awhile," she agreed, sitting. "I'm Nancy. What brings you to Kadie's?"

Blair looked around carefully and leaned forward to speak in a whisper. "I'm with the underground. I'm here to get you out. Grab your things and meet me by the backdoor in two minutes and I'll get you to your new life."

"...what?" Nancy asked, blinking.

Blair waved his hand. "Keep it on the down low, man. I don't want to catch the attention of the hooker overlords."

"Hooker overlords?" Nancy asked in a confused whisper. "You mean like Gail?"

Blair nodded seriously. "I'm sure that's an alias, but yes. I'm here to take you away from all this. The nuns have found a way out."

"...nuns?"

"Secret hooker-rehabilting nuns." Blair whispered. "Are you ready to go?"

"I'm not a hooker," Nancy said, offended.

"Oh." Blair tilted his head at her. "Sorry, I just thought because of the dancing and the lasso and..."

"Sorry. I didn't mean to offend you."

"I'm a law student," she told him, blushing a darker gray. "This is just to get me through school."

"Really? I've never been into law, but that's mostly because I oppose the establishment. Do you like it?" Blair said with a bounce.

"I have a friend who went to jail unfairly," she said hotly. "I'm gonna get him out. So it doesn't matter if I like it or not. It's the right thing to do."

Blair blinked and grinned. "That? Is awesome. Good for you, man."

Nancy smiled. "He helped me out, so I owe him. Um. What's with the nunhooker stuff? Can I help?"

"He's lucky to have you for a friend." Blair smiled back. "I know a nun who went undercover as a hooker in order to save girls from being trapped in that lifestyle if they don't want to be."

"All the girls like that I know seem t'like it," she murmured thoughtfully, biting her lip.

"Well, I'm sure that some do." Blair nodded. "I don't think Sister Rebekah is trying to break out people who really want to work. Just those who don't think they have another choice or who are being forced into it."

"Sist...Becky?" Nancy asked, staring. "Are you serious?"

"Yes." Blair nodded. "You know her? She's totally cool, isn't she?"

"She's a hooker," Nancy said. "Not a nun."
