1) Announcement from the President

3) Callisto & Fashion show planning

4) Show of gratitude for those who worked the bake sale

Free food provided

Angelus is inside, looking as though there's a great deal on his mind and as though there's a high likelihood that his distraction has something to do with the travel plans that are scattered across his desk (anyone peeking would see London, Paris, and Rome listed on his notes). On Dr. Carter's desk is a box of fudge nut brownies from Deb's. The door to the classroom is wide open.

After her trip to the pub (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomtownies/276242.html?thread=10884370#t10884370), Duce wandered back to the school, still not wanting to be by herself. Spotting a notice about the JA meeting, she remembered she'd promised her father that she'd go check them out. Poking her head in the door, she looked for Angelus and asked, "Closed meeting, or do you allow spectators?"

"Okay, gang," Angelus said, still looking somewhat distracted as he shoved brochures back into his backpack. "As a heads-up yours truly is going to be away from tomorrow until Sunday. I'll be having a honeymoon with Darla during which time if I am lucky I shall never cease to be naked and covered in massage oil spending some time with Darla, who some of you met last weekend. I'm going to be unreachable no, seriously, my player will be in Virginia with no computer access.

"So, as per our by-laws, when Miss JA can't fulfill her duties it falls to the next in line. As vice president, that's Bel. Any problems, questions, you name it can go to him. Bel? I don't know if you want to say anything in relation to that."

Beka looked at Bel. Then marched over to him and hissed in his ear, "I know you're still embarrassed about what happened with your parents. Go. Stand up there. Show Angelus, me, and the rest of them that you believe in yourself. Before I do something embarrassing.

"While Angelus is off getting laid and not by me, the bastard enjoying his vacation," Belthazor said dramatically, "I will do my best to live up to his shining example of leadership and make sure the JA is just as strong as he left it when he returns."

Veronica Mars

"As some of you already know," Angelus said, "Veronica Mars of the irresistable head-tilt is doing an article on human vs. non-human relations." Angelus's mouth settled into a grim look. "Something which is clearly needed, all things considered." He attempted to look brighter. "She asked for a second of our time to introduce herself so here she is. Veronica?"

Veronica smiles.

"I want to thank Angelus for giving me the time to introduce myself to all of you tonight. My first article, an in-depth interview with Angelus, will be in next week's paper. I plan to de-bunk popular myths and basically educate the student body with the truth about the various non-human students on campus."

She pauses and tilts her head.

"I would very much like to interview all of you. For one thing, I know many of you are non-human and I would like to feature you each in an interview if you're willing. For another, JA is one of the few clubs that openly encourages both human and non-human members."

Callisto, leather, need we say more?

"Now let's turn the floor over to Cal so we can get to planning the fashion show," Angelus said. "Cal? What do we need to do and when do we need to do it?"

Okay, for starters first thing we need is a venue and a date.

Next we need a list of volunteers. We need models, an MC, possibly a DJ, and general backstage crew.

And, of course, we need the clothes. Since this isn't that kind of show.

"Now let's take a minute to give a round of applause to everyone who worked the bake sale this weekend," Angelus said, leading off the clapping himself. "I'd like to shine a special spotlight on Anakin, who I'm told held up well under extreme circumstances. Thanks guys. Was there anything any of you wanted to talk about? Questions, concerns, suggestions for future events like it?"

"Okay," Angelus said, "new business. Anybody got any?"

"I know this one isn't official JA business," Angelus said, "but considering most of us here are in on the Vegas trip I was thinking it couldn't hurt to take a minute to start co-ordinating. Much as I'd love to, there's no way I can pull off this much planning by myself. So let's get some volunteers. Who can do what and when can they get it done by? I can take care of hotel reservations since I'm one of the few here old enough to manage it. We need people to keep a running list of who's going, people to organize making sure everybody gets their shit together on time, people to make sure Draco has everything he needs to get us there, the works.

"Do your part and sign in please," he grinned.
