Angelus is inside, looking as though there's a great deal on his mind and as though there's a high likelihood that his distraction has something to do with the travel plans that are scattered across his desk (anyone peeking would see London, Paris, and Rome listed on his notes). On Dr. Carter's desk is a box of fudge nut brownies from Deb's. The door to the classroom is wide open.

Faith nods. "Yeah, I know who he is- I listen to the radio, I probably know more about people's personal buisness then I'd like. Wasn't the hotel owner violent, too? I think I kinda remember something about him threatening Solo."

Faith made a face. "Her dragon's word? Great. And you'd think someone who had a dragon wouldn't be so easy to kill."

Duce nodded, "Threw him up against a wall. Something about Han fucking Jayne or.. something. It was confusing."

Half her mouth quirks in a smile, "The little purple guy's only about as big as a cat. But you're right.. whoever put her out of commission had to have taken the little thing into account. Even at that size, the element of surprise could've done.. something."

"Yeah, cause an adult assaulting a kid is always the sign of cute cuddly things to come," Faith said, rolling her eyes.

"And a little dragon totally could have caused problems. Can't those things breathe fire? This whole thing is sounding fishier and fishier."

Duce agrees, "Something smells in Denmark. I mean, besides Hamlet.. This whole thing reeks of some sort of setup to me. I just can't pinpoint what it's a setup for."

"Maybe she wanted to, like, fake her own death and run away?" Faith asked, not seriously. "It's extreme, but I can't think of anything that's more or less realistic."

"Is she human? Maybe it's like, an anti-people-with-dragons group, or something."

"He have any powers?" Angelus asked. "I know dragons where I'm from can spit fire and the like... unfortunately not always from their mouths. But Kitty told me he was an alien. The space kind, not the illegally crossing the border kind. Maybe he's all bark and no bite?"

Duce shrugs, "I only ever saw him riding around on her shoulders. Hell, without that, I wouldn't have known who people were talking about. Kitty-Pryde-The-Girl-With-The-Little-Dragon." She shrugs, "He's the size of a cat. And if he's an alien.. maybe his powers, if he even has any, don't work here."
