Angelus is inside, looking as though there's a great deal on his mind and as though there's a high likelihood that his distraction has something to do with the travel plans that are scattered across his desk (anyone peeking would see London, Paris, and Rome listed on his notes). On Dr. Carter's desk is a box of fudge nut brownies from Deb's. The door to the classroom is wide open.

"Okay, gang," Angelus said, still looking somewhat distracted as he shoved brochures back into his backpack. "As a heads-up yours truly is going to be away from tomorrow until Sunday. I'll be ~~having a honeymoon with Darla during which time if I am lucky I shall never cease to be naked and covered in massage oil~~ spending some time with Darla, who some of you met last weekend. I'm going to be unreachable ~~no, seriously, my player will be in Virginia with no computer access~~.

"So, as per our by-laws, when Miss JA can't fulfill her duties it falls to the next in line. As vice president, that's Bel. Any problems, questions, you name it can go to him. Bel? I don't know if you want to say anything in relation to that."

Beka looked at Bel. Then marched over to him and hissed in his ear, "I know you're still embarrassed about what happened with your parents. Go. Stand up there. Show Angelus, me, and the rest of them that you believe in yourself. ~~Before I do something embarrassing.~~

"While Angelus is off ~~getting laid and not by me, the bastard~~ enjoying his vacation," Belthazor said dramatically, "I will do my best to live up to his shining example of leadership and make sure the JA is just as strong as he left it when he returns."

Beka nodded to Bel and mouthed, "Well done."

Belthazor glanced at Beka. "Thanks."

"Got your back," she said quietly.

Angelus grinned. "Thanks, Bel. I'd say call me if anything comes up but god willing I will be too tied up to answer. I know you'll do great while I'm away."

"I wouldn't dream of interrupting unless it was an absolute emergency," Belthazor said.

"And that's the kind of sound judgement you'll need while filling in for me. ~~Interrupting for a reach-around, on the other hand...~~"

Jonathan looks up at the announcement, worried about what might happen with Blank if Angelus isn't around. Then he calms down and tells himself to quit being a pussy about it all. He still looks freaked.

Angelus caught the look and gave Johnny a questioning Wanna talk about it? look in return.

Jonathan smiles tightly at ANgelus as well, because he really needs to get over it and stop being a pussy and Angelus was not his mommy and didn't need to be here to hold his hand. ~~OMG Blank's going to incite the villagers with pitchforks against me!~~

Angelus gave him a reassuring look. ~~I talked to Bel about that, which you'd know if you mentioned it to me.~~

Jonathan swallows several times before getting up from his seat and moving over towards Angelus, "So umm, it's cool you're getting some time away, as hard as you've been working around here. And Darla seems like she'd be a blast," Jonathan starts, clearly hedging, "I was kind of wondering if, you know, you had any news on the Blank situation."

"John's going to keep an eye on him," Angelus said, nodding in John Connor's direction as he lowered his voice so only Jonathan could hear him. "And Bel knows about Marty's... particular fetish. He'll have your back."

"Jonathan looks releived, really he could kiss Angelus, "Thanks, I should have known you'd be on top of it," he told him. He shoots a look in Bel's direction a Thanks for having my back look, but seeing as Jonathan loses at guy speak it might look like a how do you like my back look.

Angelus gave Jonathan a lingering pat on the back. "Would I let anybody in our group down? When you're a Jet you're a Jet all the way. Even if I'm not personally in town to attest to that."

Beka shot Jonathon a look of concern. "You all right?"

Jonathan gives Beka a tight smile, "I'm fine Ms. Valentine, hope Angelus doesn't overexert himself to badly

Beka cocked her head. "All right, then, Mr. Crane. There was a matter Angelus had suggested I discuss with you."
