Library, Wednesday [12/7]
Gabrielle wasn't sure she'd call what she did this morning opening the library, exactly, when people had been all but living in there for the past week and a half. Refreshing it, maybe, or no, that wasn't quite --
Semantic exercises were beside the point. The point was that she came in, straightened up as best she could without disturbing any stacks of books that might be research, and left a box of baked goods outside Belle's office door since gods knew she had basically been living in there.
She got a fresh pot of coffee going, prepped filter baskets of grounds for three more, and was ready to call the library good to go for the day.

The smell of fresh-brewed coffee got her to wake up enough to go over and help herself to some, and no, she wasn't going to apologize for the amount of sugar she put in it. Shut up, she needed that.

He'd managed to get two hours of sleep last night, mostly thanks to Ben's interference. So at least he was awake.
Re: Mod Your Library/Research [12/7]
It... still wasn't helping much.

At this particular moment, she was reading a set of scrolls written in Sanskrit, taking notes in French so she could go over them later with Leto.
In the Hallway Beside The Library Door
When in doubt (and what the heck was left of the multiverse besides that, at this point?), bake.
When in a place where you don't have your own oven, buy large quantities of baked goods and provide them to others. So. Table in the hallway. Many, many boxes from Jeff, God of Biscuits.
Girl behind the table with a book called Destroying The Universe In Ten Easy Steps. She was kind of hoping they were so easy even an Early Childhood Education major could reverse-engineer them. Francine had big dreams. And a cruller.

This probably explained why she looked a little more openly worried than usual when she got back. (The voicemail she'd left for Sam probably said as much too, but that was private.)
"I think we're starting to run out of time," she told... whoever happened to be in earshot. It was more just a general remark.

It didn't take long at all before she was ready to smack her head repeatedly against the desk.
