The Club Fair, Gym, Friday Afternoon

Though he'd heard about something like it being in the works, the club fair wasn't what Simon had been looking for.

Regardless, it was what he found, just as it was being set up. He almost left straight away, to avoid being in anyone's way, but then his curiosity won out. So, he decided to stay and take a look at the club schedule.

Couldn't hurt, could it?

Simon was wandering around, curious. His old school in England hadn't really been big on extracurricular activities.

He had no idea if he was going to sign up for anything, though.

Jeremy really didn't have anything better to do, so he was here, sitting by a table and looking relaxed as he surveyed the gym.

"Lot of school spirit, huh?" Miley laughed, coming up to Jeremy with a pair of cupcakes. Okay, they were rainbow, but she didn't seem to know what that meant anyway. "Want one?"

Kenzi had wandered around, and decided she was pretty much in the wrong place.

But there were cupcakes to be had. Cupcakes! No reason to leave yet!

Bod wasn't sure if he'd join a club but he figured he could take a break from his shift at work to pop over and see what was going on.

The book he'd been reading at the diner was stuffed into one of his pockets and he looked distracted as he wandered around the gym.

Percy hadn't joined any clubs last time but he wasn't doing anything else besides sitting and sulking in his room and that was getting boring. So, he was down here to sulk and walk around.

It was...a slight change!

Sam wasn't going to wander around. It was a miracle he'd even come down to the gym at all. He wasn't planning on joining any clubs, groups, gatherings, or anything else. The Council was enough of a group for him.

He'd found a seat at one of the tables and was now just spending time there until he had to head home for a few hours for uncomfortable conversations and sullen silences during the Council meeting.

He looked thrilled.

Toby- purple sneakers and all- in the midst of wandering around the gym, found himself wandering past Sam's table.

"Hey," he greeted casually. This totally didn't have to be awkward, despite all the handholding and... whatever the hell else had gone on the last time they'd talked.

But mostly she wondered, with an 'o', what to do with the rest of the day. Maybe she'd give that running cardio thing another go or something.

Ender had no plans of signing on for anything - the idea of joining a high school club bored him, and he had better uses for his time like obsessive research.

It didn't keep him from turning up this once just to see what clubs were on offer, though. And maybe keep an eye out for Peter, though he had a feeling Peter wouldn't be here gearing up to join anything for much the same reasons as he did.

He sort of wandered from one end to another.

Dolf... was still a little embarrassed after the weekend, having shot people.

So he'd be spending most of his time hunched over one of the tables, trying (and somewhat succeeding) not to look totally mortified. That wasn't going to keep him from getting up and signing on for Pride as an ally, mind.

Miley was here, and milled around the gym brightly. She hadn't done any clubs at her old school -- except for cheerleading (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RYi-F5hyPQ), of course -- because she hadn't had time, so really she was here to talk to people. But she could probably be persuaded to give something a shot! As long as it didn't involve wearing a dusty old pirate mascot head. That was something you only did once.

Or, in her case, for half a basketball game.

Kate couldn't honestly see herself going for any of the clubs out here today. Where was the club for hitting people with pointy sticks?

Still, she was here for now, loitering with the best of them.and seeing if a sudden extracurricular passion hit her. You never knew.

Sov wandered around the gym, looking for any clubs that would be interesting to join. Or people to talk to. They had spent the previous weekend alone in the woods, so company would be good.

Lucrezia was still a touch unnerved, from her recent misadventures, but she was a Borgia, and she would hold her head high. She mingled easily, eyes searching for anyone she might recognized.

There were clubs! Marshall, on a quest to find a science club, made his way into the gym.

He was going to be very sad that there wasn't a science club, yes. How else were they supposed to figure out how the hell does the island work?

When she wasn't in the lobby trying some last minute campaigning, Annie decided she wanted to see what there was out there to try. Maybe there'd be something that really jumped out at her.

Or there'd be something she ended up joining because she got pressured into it with "It'll look good on your college applications" against her will.

Yep. He was starting to settle into a 'not a joiner' philosophy. Wonder how that'll treat him in the future.
