The Club Fair, Gym, Friday Afternoon

Though he'd heard about something like it being in the works, the club fair wasn't what Simon had been looking for.

Regardless, it was what he found, just as it was being set up. He almost left straight away, to avoid being in anyone's way, but then his curiosity won out. So, he decided to stay and take a look at the club schedule.

Couldn't hurt, could it?

"I guess, there's probably Apathy in not wanting to join anything," Kate suggested. That was an option. "And general requirements for sorority is 'being a girl' and you seem to have that down." Unless she was very much mistaken.

Mercy laughed. "Maybe I've seen too many bad movies with stupid sorority girls to have a good impression of what they really do."

"I wouldn't have a clue what hey do," Kate admitted. "Bake cookies and throw parties?" Neither were really Kate- friendly activities.

"You could probably sign up, go once to find out, and never go again." Would anyone check and chase up? She suspected not.

"I do like to bake," Mercy said slowly. "And yeah, I doubt they'd come after you if you decided it wasn't your thing."
