BWI - Portalocity Lounge [Saturday Morning]

It had taken two and a half pep talks from her father to get Miley to be at least sociable today, the last half of which she was currently reading over text messages because her father couldn't figure out how to send messages that were greater than the character limit. Still, "sociable" was a far cry from her normal bubbly self. But she still had to be nice and talk to people, and she would, even if that talking to people was occasionally interrupted by texts from Lilly. (Hey, she had to read those! They could be important!)

She took a seat under the "Fandom High" banner in the airport lounge, with her three glittery pink suitcases and matching cosmetics bag all laid out on the floor in front of her. There. She could do this. If she could maintain a double life for four full years, she could survive boarding school. And maybe tonight, the president would call her back and manage to get her back into Seaview somehow!

...Hey, a girl could dream.

Kenzi was dragging, jet-lagged and conflicted about this whole boarding school bullshit. On the one hand: not Juvie. On the other hand: school. And oh look, a cheerful banner. Reminded her why she didn't do school.

On the other hand: three wallets from distracted travelers so far.

She flopped down next to Miley with a dispirited, "Hey. So. Think they'll notice if we hijack the bus and take a sidetrip to Mexico?"

"Tits." Kenzi slouched lower, the turned to study the other girl through her shades. Looked like the type to miss her cell if it went missing; but maaaaaybe not the type to miss a few bucks from her bag if she was distracted. "Kenzi. So, what crime did you commit to get sent here?"

Ryan only had a large duffel and a backpack, but she was still struggling to carry her luggage as she entered the lounge. The instructions she'd gotten from the doctors after being discharged from the hospital said that she should avoid strenuous activity. She never would have thought carrying her bags through an airport would count as "strenuous."

Spotting the banner, she dumped her bags on the ground and slumped into seat, taking a moment or two (or three) to catch her breath.

"Oh, I'll be fine," said Ryan, brushing off the other girl's concerns. "Probably shouldn't have packed so much stuff, I guess. Now I see the appeal of all those bags with wheels."

She was starting to feel better once she sat down, anyway.

Quick assessment for filchable items: not much, and not 'til whatshername could breathe. Kenzi tilted her head. "You gonna pass out?"

"Not really, but I think I'm going to write a sternly-worded letter to the guy who designed this airport for making it so difficult to navigate," said Ryan, still sounding just a little bit breathless.

There wasn't much worth stealing in her bags. Missionaries didn't have a whole lot in terms of worldly possessions, and Ryan had picked up the same attitude from her parents.

One second that seat was empty, then the next, Bart was there, hair mussed, backpack on his lap. He looked around at the other people around. Every few minutes, he looked like he wanted to say something to someone, but stopped before he said anything.

He ran his hand through his hair, then opened his bag, rummaged through it, then closed it again, muttering something about Max not letting him bring his gamestation.

Bart looked a little surprised that someone noticed him. "Oh. HiI'mBartI'mnewherewell,nowhere,butthere..." He stopped, took a deep breath and counted to a hundred. It took about a second and a half. "Hi." He waved enthusiastically. "I'm Bart Allen."

Kenzi was watching this kid twitch, wondering if he was looking for his stash. "Hey. Welcome to the party. The tiny, tiny party."

((Ooh, sorry, totally didn't see this.))

Bart's eyes got wide and he looks around. "Party? What party?"

Where the bus driver was. Well, 'driver' was pushing it. Bus 'finagler' was a better term for it.

It hadn't been the same since the Canadian Sherlock Holmes and Disney overlord touched it in bad places.

"Among many things," Deadpool said, filling the role of the wise, older driver. "But there will be no Driving Miss Daisy shenanigans. Morgan Freeman would sue my ass."

Kenzi gave this guy a look. Holy crap. They were going into a cult. Or a nut farm.

"Tell me that's not the school uniform." She could still hijack a bus! Even if it wasn't this one! Mexico was only another thousand miles south!

"Not unless you're plannin' to start the Deadpool Corps," Deadpool replied. "Not gonna lie, that ended badly."

Bart stepped onto the busandstopped short, gaping at the man in the red mask. "um.... Am I in the right place? Is this the bus for supervillains or something?"

"Hey. Hey now. Hey. First of all, I'm firmly in the anti-hero category these days. Other than those times I'm having some unfortunate 'thing' with Bullseye. Seriously, what is up with that?"

Ryan had seen a lot of crazy drivers in Third World countries, but this certainly took the cake.

"You're not planning to take a nap while driving, are you?" she asked, looking warily at the driver's pajamas.
