Rover, Martin Blank and Alanna Trebond sit at the registration table with information packets

Included in the packets are:
Your child's/ward's/whatever relationship you have with this person's Class Schedule
A Map of the School and Town
A Schedule of Events for Parents Weekend
The rules and regulations of Parents Weekend
A Coupon Book

At the desk is a sign saying:
Please sign in here for Parents Weekend

And depending who is looking at the sign it will magically say:
To ensure everyone's safety, please surrender any Firearms/Weaponry/Magical doodads that will cause harm to our students.

Your property will be returned to you before you leave.

Thank you!

ETA: Parents/Guardians are now required to check in on their own.
((OOC: In other words... If your parents are somewhat "normal" and unarmed they will not see the message. Unless they are packing some kind of weapon, and then they will be see it. Got it?))

Alanna sat next to Marty, a smile tight on her face. Every few minutes she would nervously pull at her pony tail. And that might have been a touch of makeup on her face.

Chewbacca arrived, cub in tow, and sniffed. He recognized this girl's smell. He walked up to the table and cocked his head at her.

Alanna smiled up at him. "Hi, and welcome to Fandom High! Please take a packet." Alanna hands him a packet. "And your name please, and the name of the student you are here for?"

Chewbacca growls into his translator.

I am Chewbacca, guardian of record for the human Han Solo.

He pulls Han around to stand beside him.

Introduce me to your she-cub friend, from that Thursday. The translator does not convey all the nuances, but Han flinches.

Jack Crichton stepped out of his own cab and took in the checkpoint. He stretches his legs and back before walking over to the two people manning the checkpoint station.

He waits his turn in line, hands in his pockets.

"Good evening sir." Alanna chirps, not noticing Sir Myles and Jon a few feet away. "Welcome to Fandom High! Please take a packet." She hands him a packet. "And you are and are here for...?"

"My parents are around here somewhere. Can I sign in by myself or do I have to wait?"

"I'm sorry, your parents have to sign themselves in. You can go ahead and help yourself to some food from the snack table, though." Alanna is now truly smiling.

Quinn sees Daria and quickly scans the crowd for her parents. Dammit, not here yet. Fine.

With a heavy sigh, Quinn walks over. "You made it."

"Daria! What did I say about running up ahead?" Helen calls from behind, strutting in a pair of heels as Jake tags along behind her, falling over now and again as he struggles with their bags as Helen strides forward, oblivious.

"Hi, I'm Sharon Tyler. Jaye's sister." She gestures behind her. "I'm here to check in."

It's quite late when Kokiri and Okino Takayama arrive.

"We're terribly sorry," Kokiri apologizes. "Traffic was horrible. We finally just left the car and came the rest of the way by broom." Kokiri smiles at her husband, who is looking a little green. Okino is glancing over at what remains on the food table, looking if there's anything there that might settle his stomach.

"Where do we sign?" continues Kiki's mom brightly.
