Rover, Martin Blank and Alanna Trebond sit at the registration table with information packets

Included in the packets are:
Your child's/ward's/whatever relationship you have with this person's Class Schedule
A Map of the School and Town
A Schedule of Events for Parents Weekend
The rules and regulations of Parents Weekend
A Coupon Book

At the desk is a sign saying:
Please sign in here for Parents Weekend

And depending who is looking at the sign it will magically say:
To ensure everyone's safety, please surrender any Firearms/Weaponry/Magical doodads that will cause harm to our students.

Your property will be returned to you before you leave.

Thank you!

ETA: Parents/Guardians are now required to check in on their own.
((OOC: In other words... If your parents are somewhat "normal" and unarmed they will not see the message. Unless they are packing some kind of weapon, and then they will be see it. Got it?))

Helen signs in for both of them, as Jake starts kicking a small, paisley bag across the ground and screaming.

Alanna blinks past Helen. "Can I help you?" A small black cat jumps on to her lap and she glares at it. "About time."

"Hello," Helen says somewhat warmly, with Jake now trying to perform a full-nelson on a rolling suitcase in the background. "We haven't checked into the hotel yet. Your father missed the exit."

"I had no navigation!" He calls out from behind.

Helen rolls her eyes. "I signed us in. How are you?"

"Haven't been eaten by a gremlin yet. Dammit.," she says. "Do you want to go to the hotel? Because we can get away from all these other people. Really. Right now."
