Self Defense and Kickassery for Dummies; Thursday Fifth Period [2ndst. Class]
One by one the students would be dropping by on their nicely simulated dojo, only to find Faith already there, stretching. Well, at least it was better than to be greeted by a completely uninterested glance. This time as well she kept it quiet until the time for her class actually started as well. Being as unresourceful as she was with words, she wasn't about to misuse the few ones she had prepared beforehand. Still, each student would get a small nod as a greeting, and then ordered to sit quietly on the tatami -no chairs this time, but the padded floor was pretty comfortable-, or to stretch as well; as long as they remained silent, it was fine for her.
Once the time for the class to start actually arrived, she got the group sitting in the tatami, and cleared her throat.
"And now it's time for class number two; I expect you have been training all this time."
She didn't, actually, but it was fun to make them feel guilty.
"Last time we got into the basics, and saw our first kata; hard isn't it? At least for those without experience, the approach was probably a pain in the ass." Faith smirked. "That was the idea; that kata isn't the first or the easier that there is; actually, it's a pretty long one, considering most katas last less than a minute." Oh Faith, you were such a bad, bad person. "Anyway, this second class was thought to be focused entirely on learning a new kata, but come on, you didn't sign into this class to do the same stuff all the time. So, while we will be seeing another kata indeed, and I promise this one will be far more accessible, I'll also test your overall fighting skills; one by one I'll be having a one-on-one with you." Malicious smiles ensued here as Faith walked around the group. "This won't be a real fight, and I'll be letting you land some attacks on me, actually, but this will serve for me to be able to point your weak spots, so you can keep them in mind if you ever need to defend yourselves."

She opened with a kick at Faith's sternum.

Faith rushed at Asuna, jumping when she was a few feet from her. "Cover yourself", managed to say as she delivered a kick right at her face; she was restraining much of her strength, but the momentum was enough to do some damage.

Don't answer that.Kennedy practically bounced toward the sparring area, but she was all business once she entered it, hands loosely curled and up in guard position. "Every freaking day," she said by way of answering Faith's earlier comment about training every day. If there was a distinct undercurrent of duh there, well... duh.
Sparring someone who had a pretty good idea of how an older and better version of her fought. This would go so well, wouldn't it?
Re: One on One with Faith
"I heard Tara was sending birthday invitations the other day." And then she threw a moderately strong punch at Kennedy's ribs; she tried to put only enough power to make the girl flinch; it would be a shame if she managed to hit her and broke her ribs, after all.
Re: One on One with Faith
"Yep." She came back with the fastest (still not fast enough) right cross to Faith's jaw that she could manage. "Today's the day, party's tomorrow."

Alice might even refrain from cheating and using her ability to see what moves Faith would make. Might.
She still had a little grudge against the woman for the whole monster-hunting thing. But only a little.
Re: One on One with Faith
"Before we get into anything, I would like to know what I'm dealing with here. You are no dummy no matter how way I look at it." Yes, this was Faith being cautious; it meant she was having second thoughts about not bringing some stakes with her.
Re: One on One with Faith
"Not human," Alice replied with a peaceful smile. "But not bad, either."

Dru'd been watching Faith's movements and had tried to duck out. Tried being the operative word. She stumbled back a few steps before finding her balance again. "I'm unarmed and you've got slayer speed and strength working for you. This is the part where my dad would have said get the hell out of Dodge and fight another day."
Not that Dru was going to do that. It sort of defeated the purpose of the class after all.

Yeah, she clearly had about zero experience with this stuff.

Faith was concerned, really.

"Try not to break anything, will you?" he said, starting off in a defensive position.

She stepped up when it was her turn and fell into an easy ready stance.
