One by one the students would be dropping by on their nicely simulated dojo, only to find Faith already there, stretching. Well, at least it was better than to be greeted by a completely uninterested glance. This time as well she kept it quiet until the time for her class actually started as well. Being as unresourceful as she was with words, she wasn't about to misuse the few ones she had prepared beforehand. Still, each student would get a small nod as a greeting, and then ordered to sit quietly on the tatami -no chairs this time, but the padded floor was pretty comfortable-, or to stretch as well; as long as they remained silent, it was fine for her.

Once the time for the class to start actually arrived, she got the group sitting in the tatami, and cleared her throat.

"And now it's time for class number two; I expect you have been training all this time."

She didn't, actually, but it was fun to make them feel guilty.

"Last time we got into the basics, and saw our first kata; hard isn't it? At least for those without experience, the approach was probably a pain in the ass." Faith smirked. "That was the idea; that kata isn't the first or the easier that there is; actually, it's a pretty long one, considering most katas last less than a minute." Oh Faith, you were such a bad, bad person. "Anyway, this second class was thought to be focused entirely on learning a new kata, but come on, you didn't sign into this class to do the same stuff all the time. So, while we will be seeing another kata indeed, and I promise this one will be far more accessible, I'll also test your overall fighting skills; one by one I'll be having a one-on-one with you." Malicious smiles ensued here as Faith walked around the group. "This won't be a real fight, and I'll be letting you land some attacks on me, actually, but this will serve for me to be able to point your weak spots, so you can keep them in mind if you ever need to defend yourselves."

Leda came forward. Her experience with fighting was mostly with knives, magic, or just trying to escape. Her stance probably reflected the knife fighting bit.

She opened with a kick at Faith's sternum.

It was a good kick, which didn't mean Faith let it connect; she had to take a step back, but she ended up holding Leda's leg by the ankle. She looked slightly surprised anyway. "Not too shabby girl. Just because I am more or less impressed I'll let you have another move before I move; try to free yourself and land a hit; don't be shy."

"Thank you." Leda said. She had a momentary idea of moving in closer to try to land a punch, but didn't think that would be good for the captive ankle. So instead she dropped onto her back, hoping to pull Faith off balance. Then she kicked forward with both feet towards Faith's hip and stomach.

Of course Faith was going to leave Leda's feet free; there was no fun on keeping the girl limited like that. She didn't see the other kick coming though, and had seconds only to gather herself together, and take the hit like a...em, Slayer. She almost fell on her back, but managed to keep her composure after the kick. Now she only needed to collect some air.

"...Fairly impressive", said when she could, one hand on her stomach. "Thanks God I hadn't eaten anything. Well, you obviously know how to hold your ground. I'm calling it day here, but if you ever want to get into some real sparring..."

"I'm also glad you hadn't eaten anything." Leda grinned. "And I'd love that, yeah."
