BWI Portalocity Terminal [Saturday Morning]

Rather than fly from Philadelphia to Baltimore, Eric's parents had given him a lift. They had offered to drive him directly to the school, but he told them he would rather meet the group at the airport and take the shuttle. That way he'd get an early glimpse at all the hot girls he was sure would be going to his new school.

So now he was relaxing in the lounge, drinking a soda and waiting. It wasn't going to college, but it would do.

Hayley sat down, suitcases by her side. She wore a plain white blouse with a black skirt, stockings, and shoes. Effectively, her old St. Agnes' uniform. She sighed with relief, glad to know she wasn't under the watchful eye of any more GCPD officers.

She smiled broadly, crossed her legs and started to swing them, idly.

There was a boy, looking somewhat perturbed and making a point to lurk around the edges of the lobby. He didn't have any bags with him, but he did seem decidedly interested in the pamphlet in his hand.

Possibly because if Jono was looking at that, it would be more difficult for people to make eye contact with the scarred goth boy with half his face covered.

Despite all Ellie's assurances about this school, Chuck was still... a little nervous. It wasn't like he was in his element when it came to social situations, and this was looking like it would be one of those.

So, he was loitering with his baggage in the airport lounge and hoping like hell he was in the right place.

Oh, yes, Jono was absolutely a troublemaker. You could tell by the...

Well, by pretty much everything about the way he looked, he supposed. He glanced up from the brochure at the faint notion that somebody might be watching him.

Spotting Eric, he raised an eyebrow and gave him a look that was most definitely meant to convey, 'and can I help you?'

"You bet!" Hayley said, voice all happy and chirpy. "I just got myself all enrolled yesterday."

There was a well worn piece of paper in his hands. Jonas had folded it and refolded it on the way, making sure that the ink stayed visible despite that. The instructions were numbered, written in small, careful script that he'd written himself. Where to go, what to bring, what to say.

He vaguely remembered memories of things that flew (that weren't birds) but they were mostly blurred in his mind, running together and being just out of reach.

Jonas squinted and looked around, taking in the faces of those around him, memorizing them, adding memories. His bag was at his feet, nondescript and light. Jonas waited, unsure of what to expect and constantly on his guard.

The girl in the Doc Martens, cargo pants, and tank top who came strolling into the terminal looking bored had the handle of a large, expensive rolling suitcase in one hand and a lumpy-looking canvas duffel bag, the sort you'd get from an army surplus store, slung over her shoulder.

"This is it?" Her lips thinned. Her expression turned skeptical. More skeptical, rather, since it'd already been. "So far? Really not all that impressed."

It was partly an act. The part where she'd gotten to travel by portal had been kind of cool, even if Kennedy wasn't sure how easily she could accept that it was real and not some elaborate trick.

FEEEEEEEEEEEEEENYYYYYYYYYYYY!

... I now have the urge to re-watch the entire series. Look what you did! ;) And, I think listening to 1776 with him as John Adams may have contributed to my sudden urge. :D

On one hand? Gothy-looking girl in a red leather cat-suit, looking just the tiniest bit lonely and confused.

On the other, she wasn't doing much to cloak her aura of ~You go away. You go away and you die now.~ whenever anyone walked past her and her pile of oddly-shaped luggage.

Ah, contradictions. Elder god stuffed into the de-aged body of a human, or just every teenager ever? You decide.

Anakin stalked toward the group, moving fast enough to make the hem of his robe skim off the ground.

He wore his traditional scowl on his face.

"Fandom?" he asked.

Jonothon was silent for a moment. And then he was silent for a moment more. And then, after seriously weighing the positives and the negatives of outing himself as a mutant to somebody who was probably homo sapien, he simply nodded and held up the brochure.

Yep. Fandom High. That was absolutely his destination.

Bugger, he missed having a mouth.

Jaime looked like your average friendly teenager. He also looked slightly distracted. But that was normal, too, right? As long as no one heard his occasional mutterings of "No, that's ridiculous. You're being paranoid!" he probably seemed perfectly harmless.
