"I trust you all completed your childcare assignments to my satisfaction," Anakin said from his position behind his desk.

Why yes, he was going to blow right past the part where he'd been an action figure last week.

"Today you will tell me--in detail--what you learned from your experiences with parenthood. Next week will be your final exam. I'll try not to kill you."

He could be joking. With Anakin it was really hard to tell.

Steve and Bob weren't just evil droid babies. They were sleep-sucking, noise-making demons. But John was too tired to say all of that, so he looked for Rodney to take one, if not both of them off his hands.

Rodney did feel a little bad about leaving John with the twins most of the week. But on the other hand, he didn't want Skywalker mad at him for interfering with all the suffering he apparently intended for John. He took both of the twins from John as soon as he joined him so that they wouldn't disrupt the entire class.

"I learned that John should never been allowed to procreate," Rodney said with a glare at his 'partner.' His efforts to convince John that he was not the momma not the girl in this relationship had been entirely futile. He really needed to find a way to make John forget that he knew Rodney's first name.

"Also," he added, "I learned that this technology is-" Rodney broke off just time before he could accidentally admit to the fact that he'd tried to reprogram the twins. "Really fascinating," he finished lamely.

Qui-Gon still seemed to be amused as he had been last week. Though he lacked an Anakin action figure to make dance.

After class River walked up to Anakin. "Can I keep the droid?" she asked, a pleading look in her eyes.

Her attempt to keep the reason for that question from him might not have been entirely successful. Adah had expressed an interest to throw the droid out of River's window and then disassemble the remains. That seemed interesting enough to River too, but it was the fact that Adah had asked about it that made it important.
