"I trust you all completed your childcare assignments to my satisfaction," Anakin said from his position behind his desk.

Why yes, he was going to blow right past the part where he'd been an action figure last week.

"Today you will tell me--in detail--what you learned from your experiences with parenthood. Next week will be your final exam. I'll try not to kill you."

He could be joking. With Anakin it was really hard to tell.

His efforts to convince John that he was not the momma not the girl in this relationship had been entirely futile. He really needed to find a way to make John forget that he knew Rodney's first name.

"Also," he added, "I learned that this technology is-" Rodney broke off just time before he could accidentally admit to the fact that he'd tried to reprogram the twins. "Really fascinating," he finished lamely.
