Library [12/10]

Sam had gotten earwormed with Christmas music on his way to the library, and he was still humming as he opened the place up and got settled at the front desk.

Sam hummed as he got all of the returned books checked back in.

Sam hummed as he went through his e-mail and cleared out all the really bad spam.

Third Period [12/10]

The library was closed for only part of third period, as Sam left for class and came right back.

And as soon as the library was open again, Eve was in there with the end results of the previous day's massive filing job. She staked out a table, opened the file folder, and started studying.

Lunch [12/10]

The library was closed for lunch to everyone except Thursday, the other aides, and Dean, because Sam knew better by now.

Dean came breezing in with lunch -- well wrapped burgers with the works this time -- and dropped down into what he was starting to think of as his chair. "Sammy! Cancelling class? I'm proud of you!"

Sam laughed and pulled out a covered plate from where he hidden it that morning. "I didn't have much of a choice. I didn't want to have to teach again."

"Aw, you didn't do that bad last time," Dean said, eyeing the plate. "But cancelling class is going to make you the popular TA."

"I hope people appreciate the extra time," Sam said. He pulled the foil off of the plate to reveal a pile of Christmas cookies. Some were a little burnt, but they looked edible. "I felt bad about you always being the one to bring food, so..."

Dean grinned widely and grabbed a cookie. "You're just racking up the good little brother points today aren't you?"

Sam hummed as he checked the package tracking on all of his Christmas presents, trying to make sure they'd get to Fandom on time.

Peter came in with coffee and donuts. He paused when he heard Sam humming. "If I get that stuck in my head I'm getting revenge on you, and it won't be pretty."

Sam response was to simply hum louder. "Maybe if I get it stuck in your head, it'll get out of mine."

Sam got quiet, and put on his most innocent look. "No, I guess not. I'm sorry, please don't take my caffeine back."

"I suppose I can forgive you." Peter held out the second cup of coffee for Sam to take. "So how was your weekend?"

Sam hummed as he took a long sweep through the library to make sure he had everything cleaned up before he locked up.
