Halfway through her coffee, Isabel was actually almost conscious. "Morning!"

Isabel was on the phone tracking the progress of all the deliveries.

"You did? You are the best ever," she said into the phone. "When can we expect them?"

"NO!!! This Friday!"

It'd been a while since Cameron had bugged the library staff (because god knows he'd actually come to check out a book) so he decided to drop by before his class that day started.

He grinned when he noticed Izzy was on call today as he hadn't talked to her in a while and there was something he had promised to let her know. "Yo, Izzy!"

Isabel waved at Cam then went back to glaring at the phone. "I don't care. It was clearly stated in all the emails. Delivery on Friday the thirteenth. We need it for Saturday."

"Yes. It better be."

"Fine. Thank you."

She hung up the phone and sighed. "Sometimes I really, really wish I could drink."

"I know. But the vendors are driving me to it," Isabel explained. "Prom stuff mostly. I think everything is under control? But come Saturday night, that could change."

"Just a vendor making me crazy," Isabel explained. "He finally confirmed gondolas. For next Friday."

Instead she spent a bit poring over the card catalogue and then pulled out a number of books on anything that might possibly be helpful.

She's totally staking out a table from now until lunch.

"I'm afraid to ask," Isabel said, pushing the last chair in and heading back to the circulation desk. "He was in one piece at least?"
