"Only that it's sort of tacky to do too much when the gondalier is standing right there," Isabel smirked.

"Or you'd wind up with a nice concussion from being bopped over the head with the pole," she laughed. "So keep it simple in the gondola and save the Cosmo tips for when you get back to the hotel."

"Hey, who needs Cosmo tips when you can give out great advice?" he joked and frowned. "Uh, about the general dating stuff. Not the... That's not necessary."

Isabel snickered. "Yes, exactly. Just the general stuff. Not that I couldn't give other advice, but that probably starts getting a little more TMI then you need."

"A bit. Plus, knowing my luck someone would walk in or it'd end up being reported on the radio. Then weird rumours would start, people will jump to wrong conclusions, wind would get back to Veronica and sinking gondolas would be the least of our troubles come this weekend," he theorised. "So uh... I'll manage. I could use some advice on whether I should wear a tie."

"I'd worry more about her taser," she teased. "And I'm going to pretend you just said you thinking about not wearing a tie. It's PROM for god's sake!"

"She likes me too much to taser me," he said confidently while praying that wouldn't get back to Veronica so she'd think she'd have to prove something. "How about a bow tie?"

Cameron laughed. "I'd make a remark about how girls at least don't have to worry about ties and the likes, but I'm scared I'll end up with a hair colour that won't match any of my suits."

"No, we have it easy," Isabel said sarcasticaly. "We only have to worry about jewelry, our hair, shoes that hurt, stockings that strangle. Yup, it's much easier." She would have added the part about duct tape as a supportive garment but she thought it might break poor Cam's brain.
